2 Rationale CII Institute of Quality, TPM Club India in collaboration with JIPM and JMAC is organising a unique Study Mission to Nagoya. Besides attending JIPM's annual 2-day Karakuri Kaizen exhibition, Mission members will also have the opportunity to attend Plant visits organised by JMAC. Objectives Observe rst-hand TPM &TQM methodologies implemented by world class Japanese companies. Learn methodologies that for 65 years have made Japanese manufacturing competitive. Note the philosophy, tools and systems of TPM &TQM Production System in action. Take-away the management philosophies that integrate into continuous day-to-day improvements. Visit the 2-day Karakuri Kaizen exhibition organized by JIPM. Who Should Attend This is a Mission for people who intend to make a difference at their own plants when they return. Aichi Machine has been engaged in the development and manufacturing of automobile engines and transmissions and its products have become the favorites of many customers. The company also into manufacturing of automobile transmission, auto parts, machine tools, etc. Its major customers include Nissan, Renault, Suzuki Motor, Yazunaga Corp., GKN, etc. Aichi Machine has been engaged and implemented TPM for more than a decade. Daiwa Kasei Industry Co. Ltd As a corpora on based in Aichi Prefecture, the manufacturing center of Japan, Daiwa Kasei serves as the driving force for world-leading domes c automo ve manufacturers. They manufacture products in the specialized field of plas c fasteners for automobiles. The company constantly pursue ease-of-use and conduct development for even be er products. This company is a best example for Karakuri Kaizen implementa on. It has won many pres gious awards including the TPM Award for Special Prize. Toyota Motor Corporation/ Toyota Museum Toyota today manufactures a diverse line-up of vehicles all over the globe. As an innova ve leader, Toyota is well-known for its management philosophy and the world's first mass-market hybrids. Regardless of the decade and technological innova on, Toyota remains true to the principles set forth by its key leaders. This visit will also cover the Toyota Museum which was set up in Karakuri Kaizen Exhibition The Japan Ins tute of Plant Maintenance held the first Karakuri Kaizen Exhibi on in Over the years this exhibi on has grown bigger and has been a ended by numerous visitors.
