3 Important information that you need to know Logging into Travel Related Users System (TRUST) All Travel Agents have a Travel Related Users System (TRUST) account. ( To verify if you have any outstanding requirements for your licence, please log into the TRUST website with your User ID and password. Forgotten/misplaced your TRUST UserID and/or password? Please utilise the password reset function on the TRUST website to reset your password under the Forgot Password link. Your TRUST password will expire every 90 days for security reasons. For further assistance on password reset You may contact the TRUST Helpdesk at: trust_helpdesk@ncs.com.sg Tel: The operating hours of the TRUST Helpdesk are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Correspondence on licensing matters will be via Singapore Tourism Board (STB) will be sending out correspondence regarding licensing matters via . Hence, it is important to ensure that the licensee s address and contact details are updated with STB. 4 Section 1 - Submission of Gross Annual Turnover - All licensees must submit the particulars of the Gross Annual Turnover for the previous year via TRUST on or before 31 March of each year. - The online Gross Annual Turnover exercise takes place in the period of mid February to 31 March every year, and will close after the deadline of 31 March. Late submissions after 31 March will be subjected to fines. - This requirement is legislated under the Travel Agents Regulations, Regulation 24(1)(a): Every licensee shall submit the following information to the Board the particulars of the gross annual turnover on or before 31 st March of each year for the preceding year in the form and manner required by the Board. Information required for Gross Annual Turnover submission - The required Gross Annual Turnover information is for the period from 1 January to 31 December of the previous calendar year. The submission of Gross Annual Turnover therefore is not dependent on the completion of auditing of company accounts. EXAMPLE Period Covered: 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2012 Submission Period: Mid of February 2013 to 31 March For submission after 31 March, you may submit soft copies of the offline Gross Annual Turnover Form (Annex A) to stb_ta@stb.gov.sg with the subject header: Submission of GAT [Reference Year] for [TA no. & Name]. 5 1.1 How to check if Gross Annual Turnover is outstanding on TRUST - Log on to TRUST. - At the home page, move your cursor to the Gross Annual Turnover tab. - Click on View GAT Submission as shown in Figure 1 & 2. Figure 1 P g 5

6 Figure 2 - You will be able to check if you have submitted the Gross Annual Turnover for that Reference Year. Y means you have fulfilled the submission for that Reference Year. N means you have not fulfilled the submission for that Reference Year. 1.2 How to submit Gross Annual Turnover - The electronic submission of Gross Annual Turnover module on TRUST will be closed after 31 March. - For submission after 31 March, you may submit soft copies of the offline Gross Annual Turnover Form (Annex A) to stb_ta@stb.gov.sg with the subject header: Submission of GAT [Reference Year] for [TA no. & Name]. 7 Section 2 Payment of Outstanding Fines (if any) - Licensees will incur fines for any late submission of Audited Statement of Accounts, Banker s Guarantee, Gross Annual Turnover and/or Fidelity Insurance. As such, it is in the licensees best interests to fulfil the said licensing requirements on time. 2.1 How to check if there are outstanding fines and make payment for fines on TRUST - Log on to TRUST. - At the home page, move your cursor to the Payment tab. - Click on View Fine(s)/Fee(s) and make payments as shown in Figure 3. - You will see the list of outstanding fines and amount that you have incurred. - Check on the box beside the outstanding fines that you wish to pay and proceed to click on make payment as shown in Figure 4. - You will be directed to the payment confirmation page below as shown in Figure 5. - Please check for any errors/discrepancies before proceeding to click on the Confirm Payment button. - You will be re-directed to the online payment portal of Singapore Tourism Board as shown in Figure 6. - Fill in the required contact information on the payment page and click on Continue. - After payment is done, you are advised to print out a copy of the receipt for reference. 10 Figure 6 - If you are unable to make the payment online, you may send a crossed cheque with the stipulated fine amount payable to SINGAPORE TOURISM BOARD. Write the fine description (example: Fine for Late submission of Audited Accounts 2012 ) and the [TA no. & Name] on the reverse side of the cheque.
