6 Interpreting the Results We control how we react to most situations (somatic reflexes variance). Our actions and behaviors can determine how others react to us! We need to reinforce good behaviors. Lets connect this to motivation.

8 Dictionary Definition of Motivation The act or process of giving someone a reason for doing something : the act or process of motivating someone. The condition of being eager to act or work : the condition of being motivated. A force or influence that causes someone to do something.

11 Motivation A McKinsey Quarterly Survey underscores the opportunity to motivate beyond money. The respondents view three noncash motivators: Praise from immediate managers. Leadership attention (for example, one-on-one conversations). A chance to lead projects or task forces.
