Established in 2013, Fieldwork has been appointed on a number of significant projects including apartment buildings in Collingwood, Eltham, North Fitzroy, Abbotsford, Albert Park, the CBD and Brunswick, townhouse projects in Richmond, Preston, Thornbury, Armadale, Parkville, Fitzroy North and Brunswick East, highend residences in Northcote, Canterbury, Fitzroy and Brunswick and the School of Life headquarters in the CBD. 2 Joachim Holland Director Role overview: Qualifications: The role will encompass all aspects of documentation, contract administration, quality control, project management, and client negotiation and management. The Project Architect is required to work with Directors, Senior Project Architect and staff to manage the design concepts that are developed for a project and sustain them through the project stages until the project is finalised. Bachelor Degree in Architecture. Registration with the ARBV (or state equivalent) is preferable but not essential. Extensive documentation experience having delivered several small, medium and/or large scale residential projects (ideally both apartment and townhouse projects) Excellent knowledge of architectural practice and theory Skills & experience: Extensive experience in developing and delivering design from briefing to project handover Experience in ArchiCAD and Sketchup is not essential but preferable. Architectural concepts, practices, procedures, construction documents, specifications, schedules, materials and construction practices.

3 Experience in involvement of ongoing client relationships and communicating effectively with the client group Demonstrated experience in working with project managers and consultants as part of a larger design team Technical competencies These describe the key outcomes that are to be achieved in the role, the relative weighting of each competency and the precise performance standards against which the performance of the employee will be measured. Manages architectural projects Manages small, medium and/or large scale projects with limited assistance from Director and Senior Project Architect from its inception through to final delivery. 12 % Works with Director on design resolution throughout the project. Demonstrate a full understanding of all aspects of project requirements 2. Prepares architectural design Prepares architectural designs of new and altered building projects. Is aware of best practice in architecture and current trends. 3. Investigates sites Investigates sites proposed for development to secure data, such as measurements, for the preparation of site development plans, interprets the data, designs and assists in formulating development plans. 4. Drafting Performs drafting of construction drawings and compiling of specification documents for contracts and building projects. 12 % 5. Client management Maintains a positive ongoing client relationship and communicates effectively with the client. Works with clients, project managers and consultants as part of a larger design team 6. Material and construction requirements Investigates material requirements for project. Broad knowledge of building products and construction processes 7. CAD Prepares construction documents using CAD software

4 8. Construction materials Inspects construction materials to see that they conform to specifications. 9. Progress reports Prepares progress reports. 10. Project programming To manage project hours, timelines and deadlines using our work management software Worfront. Plan, prioritize and work to meet project requirements; deliver all project requirements to agreed timelines. Help identify risks to the delivery of the project requirements and work with the Directors to mitigate them 11. Contract administration To run the contract administration of projects on site. 12. Project team To manage the project team (consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and contractors). 13. Staff management To manage the work of graduate architects and architectural assistants. Contribute positively to the culture of the organisation and assist in creating an effective working environment 14. Relationships To expand and build the relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors and collaborators.
