1 UK SERIAL PURCHASING Location: Fradley The Serial Purchasing function is responsible for purchasing activity linked to current programs in production. You will have the opportunity to gain an insight into how decisions and actions can impact upon delivering the best results for Faurecia and its customers through supporting the team to improve supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD). Analysis of supplier information to ensure that supplier cost detail is available Supporting the site logistics teams to optimise packaging used to supply the product New project implementation Supplier quality assurance- supporting SQA on run at rates for new and transfer tooling Support of series purchasing projects and new product launch Support engineering change requests Manage Purchase Orders for the department using SAP system Involvement in Supplier meetings and Vii workshops letter to or

2 FES (LEAN MANUFACTURING) Locations: Fradley & Washington Our Faurecia Excellence System (FES) placement offers students hands on production involvement focusing around full participation in reviewing and implementing continuous and lean manufacturing processes and practices. Support the FES specialist in implementing FES methodologies and tools through their active participation in shop floor activities Monitor FES standards across the plant Work within the team to review and implement the continuous of our FES system to ensure that the plant runs in line with lean manufacturing principles Assist in running training sessions and workshops Fabrication of internal material racking and systems Support implementation of pull system in manufacturing processes Collect data daily, weekly and monthly for group reporting Assist with new product, new workstation design and layout optimisation letter to or apply online at careers.faurecia.com

3 FINANCE Locations: Banbury, Fradley, Washington & Lichfield Supporting the Finance department in a wide range of tasks and projects, the finance students will have a great opportunity to apply their University studies to work environment and gain great experience in an international context for a future career in Finance. Support month end closure, reporting with accruals, pre-payments, P&L and balance sheet management Daily control of: delivery notes, recharges, bank reconciliation and debtors tracking Daily reporting and maintenance of department KPI s Support part, price and volume analysis and retro analysis for sales and purchasing Coordinate and management of non- production purchasing and invoice process Consolidation and update of Fixed Asset Register Assist the Finance department in financial projects Support internal control basic rules adherence

4 HUMAN RESOURCES Locations: Fradley & Banbury The role of HR student is to support the Human Resources team in the delivery of site HR support service within the fast paced automotive manufacturing environment where each day provides a set of new and exciting challenges. Assisting the HR team in the provision of day-to-day HR management in accordance with the Faurecia group's human resources policies and procedures, employment law and best practice you will gain hands on work experience. Responsibilities Assist in resource planning & management through coordination and support of the recruitment process (job descriptions, advertisements, interviews, offers, induction etc.) Support the deployment of Employee Empowerment initiatives throughout the plant Coordinate management development and training activities, including the maintenance of training records Daily management of time and attendance data to produce management reports to support business decisions, month end KPI s and employee payroll Assist the HR team in personnel administration, implementation of group HR policies, maintenance of employee files, employee queries and consumables ordering Support the application of disciplinary procedures via attendance and note taking in discipline and grievance meetings Support employee relations initiatives and projects

5 HEALTH & SAFETY Locations: Fradley & Washington This placement offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the Health, Safety and Environmental function within a busy Manufacturing plant giving exposure to a wide variety of HSE practices whilst supporting the team to maintain a safe environment. Assist the HSE Coordinator in the provision of site Health, Safety and Environmental support service to the plant, providing support and coaching to management team and employees. Support the analysis of site HSE risks and propose solutions to improve the working conditions, industrial safety and respect of the environment Support the HSE Coordinator in the deployment of annual HSE action plan Assist in the deployment of Faurecia Group policies pertaining to HSE and support the monitoring of legal compliance with regulatory organisations Coordinate daily and monthly reporting of HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data, Near Miss) PPE management for the site including monitoring of consignment stock Coordinate and organise HSE compliance audits and trainings activities Conduct incident investigation using route cause analysis

6 INFORMATION SYSTEMS Locations: Fradley & Banbury IT is a key support function within Faurecia and is vital to the success of the day-to-day running of the company. This placement will allow students to put their studies into practice whilst developing and gaining skills by being involved in critical tasks within a large global company. Assist the IT team to provide front line support to local facility hardware and software Support data process and validation tasks including database management and data processing Support IT team with implementation of new business systems e.g. SAP Support adherence to netiquette and internal controls Monitor, maintain and improve security indicators Assist the monitoring of critical production servers and computers Support deployment and training of IT projects

7 MAINTENANCE Locations: Fradley, Banbury & Washington The role of the Maintenance Student placement is to gain knowledge and experience in a real lean manufacturing environment and to provide the student with an insight into the fast paced automotive industry. This is a great opportunity to have a lot of exposure, gain hands on experience and build a solid foundation for a career in Engineering. 8 OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT Locations: Banbury, Fradley & Washington Supporting the Production Manager in a wide range of tasks and projects. The operations management student will assist in improving performance related to Quality, Cost and Delivery. This an exciting opportunity to gain experience and exposure to first line management in a fact paced manufacturing environment. Assist in managing team performance. Identify areas for areas for performance linked to Quality, Cost and Delivery. Drive continuous and problem solving activities and workshops. Monitoring and maintaining Health, Safety and Environment standards in operational areas. Monitoring achievement of daily/weekly/monthly targets and implement corrective action initiatives Support development of team leaders and operators Monitor and suggest s associated with machine efficiency and direct labour consumption

9 PRODUCTION CONTROL & LOGISTICS Locations: Fradley, Banbury & Washington Supporting the Production Control and Logistics function in the procurement of raw material from suppliers, the planning of production and delivery of finished goods to the customer, the PC&L student placement provides an opportunity to gain hands on work experience in the supply chain arena. Working alongside Material Planners, Improvement Coordinator and Shop floor Supervisors this role will give an insight into the fast paced environment of automotive manufacturing. Responsibilities Monitor the flow of materials throughout the supply chain Support the ordering of raw materials and transport to ensure material is received inline with the Procurement Plan. Follow up the Procurement Plan realization by managing alert systems and follow the unloading, receipt and transportation of raw material. Maintain customer and supplier relationships Follow supplier delivery performance (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million) and the service of logistics partners. Development of standardised work and work instructions for manifest preparation and finished goods picking. Coordination and management of direct packaging. 10 QUALITY Locations: Fradley, Banbury & Washington A full insight into a real lean manufacturing environment will be experienced by our Quality placement students by working within the Quality department to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and to maintain ISO/TS Assist with reviewing and updating system control processes as well as the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems Work within the team to investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities Involvement in identifying training needs and organising training interventions to meet quality standards Support the deployment of Faurecia Group policies relating to Quality standards and the monitoring of legal compliance with regulatory organisations Create work instructions for both customers and suppliers Participate and support projects within the Quality department letter to futurecareersuk@faurecia.com or apply online at careers.faurecia.com

11 RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT Location: Shirley Our R&D placement student will support the R&D Engineering team in their tasks linked to technical product definition and process feasibility. Work in-line with program planning, quality and costs targets and support the application of Faurecia Group standards and policies using Faurecia's Program Management System (PMS) to guide the concept and design detail of automotive interiors product(s) Work with Engineers to coordinate maintenance of Program Files in Product Data Management (PDM) (including roles & rights), maintaining appropriate product and process definitions Support and liaise on technical aspects of a program: update other program related technical documentation - technical convergence and assist in the technical integration of suppliers Assist and support activities linked to the Customer's engineering team Provide necessary support to the serial life engineer (including interactions with customer) Coordinate CAD changes needed for facelift vehicles Support Engineering issues in production (root cause analysis and action plan) letter to futurecareersuk@faurecia.com or apply online at careers.faurecia.com

12 UK HUMAN RESOURCES Location: Washington/UK The UK HR student will have the opportunity to work within a busy and dynamic team directly supporting the UK HR Director and the UK HR Managers. This placement offers a challenging and exciting role whereby the student will gain hands on experience. 13 COMMERCIAL SALES Locations: Shirley & Brentwood The role of the Commercial Sales Placement Student is to work within the Faurecia commercial team and support the day-to-day project tasks and activities with the aim of improving organisation and processes. Coordinate the implementation of technical and commercial offers, maintain records of agreements and updates linked to the customer, ensuring complete records of the commercial relationship Ensure commercial documentation is maintained consistently and accurately throughout in support of the Sales team Maintenance of purchase orders for the department Involvement in ECR monitoring, orders, tooling and D&D offers Monitor prices and breakdowns and maintain records for the Commercial team Customer relationship management; strengthen relationships between plants and customers Fully project manage any special projects identified by the Manager

14 CUSTOMER QUALITY Locations: Fradley & Shirley This placement provides insight into both Customer Relations and Quality Engineering as the student will work with the Quality Engineering Department on both internal and external customer quality related issues. Work within the Commercial and Plant teams on customer rejects to help support continuous Meet customer satisfaction needs from transforming raw materials into final products Support the introduction of new products following the Program Management System Raise and deal with internal and external quality issues Support cost saving activities Liaise with the Serial Life team to conduct trials and investigations Implement warranty on existing programs Participate and support continuous projects Produce monthly Quality reports

15 ENGINEERING Locations: Banbury & Fradley Supporting the Engineering team in a real lean manufacturing environment, the engineering student will gain great exposure into the automotive industry. A placement with Faurecia will allow students to develop skills learnt at University and provide an excellent foundation for a career in Engineering. Support the Engineering team to design shop floor layout and process flow Assist with process definition Support raw material optimisation and product process development Support application and maintenance of Group FES (Faurecia Excellence System) standards Assist new product introduction and industrialisation Full involvement in any project work set by Managers
