8 Our In-Class Training Methodology Adult Learning Principles at the Core Training workshops are provided through the use of intensive role-playings, case studies, brainstorming, trainer talk and demonstration, small group and plenary discussions with exercises, debriefing and simulations. 11 OXFAM International Projects Project 1: Business Development Services provided to SME s in the Bekaa and Baalbeck region The LEADERS Consortium with the support of the EU Regional Trust Fund - MADAD, the Regional Development and Protection Program - RDPP, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade - Australia, the consortium aims to support socio-economic development in Lebanon. Several SMEs were shortlisted and selected to undergo the SME Development program as part of the Regional Development and Protection Program supported by the LEADERS Consortium. The Consultancy Objectives were aimed at contributing to: Improved access to sustainable livelihoods opportunities benefitting vulnerable businesses and individuals, particularly youth and women Improved economic enabling environment and service delivery in community hosting refugees The engagement of local, national and regional stakeholders directly and through awareness campaigns to address the everyday market and regulatory barriers that restrict business potential and access of vulnerable groups to employment opportunities

12 OXFAM International Projects Project 2: Business Clustering of Micro and Small Enterprises in the Bekaa region The LEADERS Consortium with the support of the EU Regional Trust Fund - MADAD, the Regional Development and Protection Program - RDPP, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade - Australia, the consortium aims to support socio-economic development in Lebanon. Several SMEs underwent a selection process and 6 Enterprises were shortlisted to form a Regional Business Cluster and undergo the SME Development program as part of the Regional Development and Protection Program supported by the LEADERS Consortium. The Consultancy Objectives were aimed at contributing to: Strengthening employability and facilitating access to salaried work opportunities, particularly for youth and women Supporting established and nascent MSMEs to become more viable, sustainable and sensitive to employees basic rights Improving awareness within supported enterprises and among job seekers on decent working conditions and discriminatory practices at workplace

13 Mercy Corps International Project Project: Business Consulting and Coaching for Small Enterprises FORSA works on expanding employment and economic opportunities for businesses and improving the function of Public and Private TVET centers in Zahle, West Bekaa, Chouf, Jezzine and Saida. The 'Fostering Resilience by Strengthening Abilities (FORSA), is a 4,500,000 integrated program designed to reduce intercommunal tensions between Lebanese, Syrians and Palestinians by alleviating competition over livelihoods. The overall objective of FORSA is to improve economic confidence and stability by creating equitable economic and employment opportunities for target communities in Lebanon. To do this, FORSA program focuses on addressing constraints to employment due to mismatched or missing labor skills, lack of social trust, political restrictions on employment, poor business management capacity and the poor capacity of vocational training institutions within the agriculture, manufacturing, services and energy sectors in Lebanon by: Improving access to employment opportunities through market-led skills training courses; Supporting micro and small business creation for vulnerable groups and graduated trainees through specialized training and technical assistance; Building the technical capacity of both private and government-run vocational and professional training centers to provide sustainable high-quality training programs
