Giving Answers to the applicants and calling them to the preparation June Julyaugust Augustseptember Local Volunteer Preparation Seminar Local Volunteer implementation throughout the period of the project Close the experience during the closing ceremony of the project.

14 P e o p l e M a n a g e m e n t Is responsible for: Together with Shapers, create a HR plan for LVs(Recommended: 1 LV/EP) Helping Shapers with LV Recruitment Allocation of LV on projects Creating the JD of the LV Tracking the fulfillment of the JD of LV Integration of LV in AIESEC: LCMs, Project s Cultural Agendas, etc. Keeping LV engaged throughout the project s implementation Provide R&R during the closing ceremony of the project. Is responsible for: Together with Engines, create a HR plan for LVs(Recommended: 1 LV/EP) Recruitment of LVs Preparation Seminar and provide 3 LEAD sessions Keeping the LVs contacts for future opportunities (GV, Recruitment, GT, etc.)

15 Integrate them in events, LC meetings Preparation and Closing Stay in touch with them after closing, in caseyou need to do recruitment Make sure you keep in touch during the project Give them specific responsibilities Give them a volunteering contract andindemnity form Make sure you have a parent s agreement signed if you recruit under-age (and the indemnity form by the parents as well) Invite them to OC meetings and keepthem informed about changes in the project Local Volunteers stand at globalvillage Sell LVs to companies as an extra benefit:more reach for the companies; you can makeyour product visible among Don t tell them that they ll automatically be a member if they join the LV project Don t run LV for GT or GE Don t recruit only high school students Don t assume that they re inferior to you Don t make a logo/brand of local volunteers in the local level

20 Local Ambassador Job Description Around 10h/week Volunteering time frame: 4-6 weeks Description About theposition The Local Ambassador is responsible for making sure that every international that he/she is responsible of attends his/her sessions. The Local Ambassador is responsible for organizing informal events, and participating atthem. The Local Ambassador is responsible for the qualitative experience that the internationals he/she is responsible of. Responsible of the participation at the meetings with the internationals and AIESEC Clujmembers. Responsible of joining the international at his/her sessions/ workplace Responsible of creating a qualitative experience for the internationals he/she is responsible of. at least 6 meeting with the internationals he/she is responsible of joining the internationals at at least 80% of his/her sessions/ workplace participation at at least 90% of the meetings organized by AIESEC Cluj members Before the start of the volunteering, the Local Ambassador will have a preparation seminar where he/she will be offered all the neccessary information and support in order for him/her to do his/ her workefficiently. The Local Ambassador will maintain communication with: the AIESEC member that will give him/her directions, the Team Leader of the project he/she will be allocated on, the Vice President of Incoming GlobalVolunteer.
