11 Q11 Comments # DATE 1 Board is very intentional in regard to recruiting new members. This is an ongoing process. The board participates in execution of the strategic direction of the agency and we will be refreshing our strategic plan in FY 19. Generally agendas reflect strategic priorities. We do have a business plan, though we may not call it such. The finance committee has provided great direction during a volatile period. The compact letter adequately identifies responsibility of board members in regard to fundraising. Our board is an active board which challenges the organization and provides assistance to addressing those challenges. Accomplishments are celebrated as well. 6/24/2018 9:42 PM 11 / 41

Generally speaking directors participate in discussions regarding agency business freely and accept and encourage a diversity of viewpoints with final decisions mutually accepted. Board continues to work with executive staff to improve the interest and engagement of directors through meeting content. We have a diversity of skills/expertise and a good mix of tenure though we continue to look for banking and managed care expertise.
