Any lad pckets that can be islated and restred via generatin makes it easier t restre the surrunding areas. The intern s assignment is t identify lad pckets within the Brklyn and Queens secndary netwrks that can be islated and restred using generatr units, which essentially establishes micr-grids. The assignment will require the participant t identify areas in the netwrk that can be islated frm the surrunding grid and meet lad requirements t be beneficial t be picked up via generatin. The participant will be wrking within ur varius internal systems including but nt limited t APS, VISION, LPDS and Lad Aggregatr. They will be wrking within ur current legacy systems (DOCS, AVAIL, MMS ect ) as well as the new sftware envirnments (Lgica, Oracle ect ) that were chsen t supprt the new wrk prcesses. The intern will wrk alng side ur cre team members, electric peratins SME's, cntract system integratr, sftware vendrs and develpers as well as cntract and in-huse IT resurces develping the wrk management system in wrkshps and design sessins. There will be independent as well as grup activities where participants will supprt the cre team respnsible with the management f this prject. The intern will assist in develping specificatins fr wrk initiatin/design, asset management, scheduling/mnitring f wrk and prductivity and financial measurement. The intern will assist in the analysis t transfrm ur current legacy systems int the new sftware envirnments and all new wrk prcesses develped in the initial phase f this prject.
