6 MY FLEXITANK DESIGN Leading Innovation ALWAYS STAYING AHEAD The MYF Composite Bolted Design Flexitank converts the standard 20-foot sea container into a 24-ton bulk liquid transportation system. It is manufactured out of two independent food-grade 3-ply co-extruded LLDPE tubes and a rugged, abrasion outer woven PP jacket and capable of shipping up to 24,000 liters of bulk liquid. MYF COMPOSITE BOLTED DESIGN FLEXITANK FOOD-GRADE POLYPROPYLENE MYF may also incorporate an optional moisture barrier in its design. This feature is unique to MYF flexitank and provides major benefits for customers who ship products that are oxygen-sensitive, such as highly refined edible oils. Another major design advantage is the exclusive polypropylene inlet / outlet fitting. These food-grade polypropylene fittings are blind bolted and torqued into place. It is designed to provide easy discharge and handling. The polypropylene bolted fitting, the 2-ply co-extruded LLDPE and the woven outer jacket as combined in the composite unit, are strongest in the industry.
