30 What we heard Economic Mobility and Talent & Education Growing economic disparities and a PK-12 inequities directly linked Economic Mobility and Infrastructure & Mobility The suburbanization of poverty, combined with a shortage of transit options, exacerbates economic disparities. Global Business Environment and Talent & Education Access to talent is #1 fuel for our region s economic competitiveness.

31 What we heard Affordability and Infrastructure & Mobility Expansion of transit options between job centers will increase affordability, housing options, and overall quality of life for residents Livability and Talent & Education A high quality of life helps retain talent. Affordability is important to quality of life, and we re concerned that existing residents with lower incomes might be priced out of many parts of the region. Public Policy and Affordability If public policy decisions don t engage people who live here, policies will not address real community concerns such as affordability.
