BSNL / Sr. GM. (TS) / CRO / 2013 dated 18th April, 2013, and conducted in accordance with the provisions of BSNL Recognition of Non - Executives' Unions and Representation in the Councils Rules, 2012 issued on 26th December, 2012 relating to recognition of unions in BSNL, the Competent Authority in BSNL is pleased to declare the "BSNL Employees Union" as the Main Recognised Representative Union on nonexecutive employees, on account of securing 99,380 votes, i.e. 48.6% of total votes, at All - India / Circle / SSA level in BSNL for a period of three years from the date this Notification, i.e.from 25 th April, 2013 to 24 th April, In addition on account of securing second highest votes, i.e. 61,915 votes (30.28% of total votes) in the 6 th membership verification, the Competent Authority in BSNL is also pleased to declare the " National Federation of Telecom Employees BSNL" as the Second Recognised Representative Union of non-executive employees at All - India / Circle / SSA level in BSNL for a period of three years from the date of this Notification, i.e. from 25 th April, 2013 to 24 th April, (sd) Satish Wadhwa Copy to : AGM (SR -II), BSNL C.O. 1. Chandeswar Singh, General Secretary NFTE - BSNL New Delhi - 1 Dear Comrade, In Chennai Telephones 31 JAO Vecancies are left unfilled after the recent declarion of the JAO examination results (OC = 7, SC = 14, ST = 10). Since the next JAO examination will be conducted on the new eligibility / educational conditions most of our existing staff will not be in a position to appear for the future examinations for JAO promotion. This issue was already discussed with Sr.GM (F). But he is of the opinion that only through the next examination these unfilled vecancies will be filled up. Hence it is requsted that the present vecancies may be filled up according to the existing standard by either conducting one special examination (or) relaxing the Qualifying marks for the last examination. For the ten ST vecancies a new examination has to be conducted specially among the ST category employees as a special drive since none has applied for the ten vecancies.
