Submitters are allowed 5 physical pages that can be printed double-sided, so there are 10 useable sheets available. It is not necessary to duplicate the organization chart in the five double-sided SOQ pages, but please reference in the SOQ that the org chart is included in the 330 Form materials. Is there a limit to the number of submissions for a single project in which a firm that is not a SBE or DBE may participate as a subcontractor? CORRECTION TO VERBAL RESPONSE GIVEN AT MEETING: No restrictions apply to subcontractor participation for firms that are not SBE or DBE. Also, please remember that no firm regardless of size may submit as a prime contractor in one submission and as a subcontractor in another submission for the same project. What is the anticipated value of the contract award, how many contracts will be awarded, at what is the period of performance for the resulting contract(s)? METRO anticipates awarding up to three contracts, each contract for $3 million. The period of performance is to be three (3) years, plus two 1-year option years. Will any environmental requirements be included in the overall scope of the contract? No. METRO has a separate contract in place with environmental consultants. What are the safety training requirements to work in the vicinity of light rail? All personnel working under a resulting contract of this solicitation must attend a METRO Rail Safety Class if they will be working at a rail operating facility or on or adjacent to a rail corridor. METRO requires submitters to have experience in eight disciplines, plus the Evaluation Criteria in section 3, Factor 2 (on 2 nd page 2), requires two professional references for all key personnel. Please clarify how these requirements should be addressed. Individuals from the prime and subcontracting firms deemed as Key Personnel may meet more than one of the required disciplines. Ultimately, the SOQ should demonstrate the full range of capability that a submitter s team will bring to the table and show the ability of the team to meet or exceed all stated qualification requirements.
