2 Since 2007 CIBP LINK allows executives from its member organisations to cope with current and future challenges while better supporting their customers in the globalized world. Each training cycle consists of three modules focusing respectively on Strategy, Leadership and Innovation. The 2018/2019 modules will take place, respectively, in Montabaur from 13 to 17 June 2018, in Yerevan in November 2018 and in Brussels in February CIBP is Linking......Common values Rooted all around the world, popular and cooperative banks share the same business model. They work for a common and global inter-cooperation by connecting and supporting communities. In order to enhance common cooperative ideas and values, CIBP offers a cross-border management training programme specifically designed to forge long lasting relationships between its members....managers and Experts CIBP LINK brings together high profile decision makers from all CIBP member countries to share a training experience that involves: Top level international speakers An increased awareness of the cooperative business model and similar perspectives in strategy management Opportunities to network among managers of CIBP member organizations and other cooperative institutions in order to foster cross-border cooperation. An attractive training framework providing cultural, political and economical information on each host country. A training cycle divided into three modules, taking place in three different countries in prime venues. The presentation of a CIBP LINK Innovation Lab Project at the end of each cycle to bring new ideas to CIBP members department organisations and to showcase how participants have combined their managerial skills with the cooperative values shared by their organisations. The CIBP LINK Alumni meeting taking place every two years. CIBP LINK is a real cross-cultural life experience. Through several well-organized active tasks, participants can exchange their views from very different stand points. Definitely LINK widened my international network and the experiences were one of my life-time memories as well! 3 ...Culture and Content The modules combine general management issues with topics specific to the host country and its culture, while renowned lecturers provide enlightened local perspectives on the module sessions. Participating countries include: Armenia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain USA USA Canada Morocco Japan Brazil Argentina LINK, so well named programme! First a high-quality training session, innovative, enriching, opening new perspectives. Secondly, but even so important, the opportunity to create a true team spirit and strong links between participants. This year spent together will remain one of my most memorable professional, but also human, experiences. LINK is great! 4 Focuses of the Modules The main focuses on Strategy, Leadership and Innovation are emphasized through cooperative ideas and key trends in Europe, Canada, Morocco, Japan and the Americas. Raise your awareness and enhance your skills in these three fields to contribute to your cooperative institutions` growth and sustainability. Module I: Strategy Programme content covers: Key benefits to participants include: Investigating diversity and the common ground of national cooperative sectors and institutions. Bringing new perspectives to the strategy of Cooperative Institutions in a truly international group. Strategy development and execution on sector-, Cooperative Central Bank- and local bank-level. Lessons learned from strategic opportunities and steering of innovation efforts towards new products, processes, services and business models. Learning about strategies to turn cooperative values into company values in the context of changing environments (markets, customer behavior, supervision). Learning from best practice cases on strategy implementation experience. Identifying challenges across diverse national markets and changes in customer behaviour. Module II: Leadership 4 Shape the cooperative banks of the future A future leader knows how to hold the process Programme content covers: Key benefits to participants include: Internalization of new behavioral knowledge. Balancing all three levels of leadership: organisational interpersonal intrapersonal. Enhanced leadership skills as means to become a more effective change mediator. Gaining insights into personal leadership strengths ( self awareness ). Learning from the intercultural diversity of leadership styles: comparison of attitudes, beliefs, values. Experimenting with strategies and tools to steer and guide teams and to create a culture of high performance. Ways and means to manage complexity in an ever-changing economic, social and political environment. Benchmarking your individual management approach.

5 Module III: Innovation See the future with fresh eyes and steer it. Programme content covers: Key benefits to participants include: Translating cooperative strategies into innovation initiatives. Exercises: learn how to think out-of-thebox; seeing through fresh eyes. Impulses from Value Innovation within a cooperative framework. Learning journeys: leave your comfort zones and access new worlds (Culture, IT, FinTech..). Gaining insights into innovative corporate culture experiences. Experiencing changes of perspective: step into the customer s shoes; look beyond the (cooperative) banking industry. Develop innovative approaches for Future Cooperative Banking with an international team. Success factors of a corporate culture that fosters innovation (and growth). I mostly appreciated to sense how people feel when they are motivated., My most important take-away is the networking with participants during the cycle and hopefully afterwards. 7 CIBP LINK 12th Cycle Modules: dates and locations MODULE I STRATEGY : JUNE 13-17, 2018 in Montabaur, Academy of German Cooperatives, ADG, Germany MODULE II LEADERSHIP : NOVEMBER 2018 in Yerevan, Armenia MODULE III INNOVATION: FEBRUARY 2019 in Brussels, Belgium Conference language English is a common language of LINK. A satisfactory level of knowledge is necessary to participate. Participants A minimum of 12 participants is required. Target group Managers of level one and two below the board of central institutions and from regional banks with a minimum of five years of management experience. Cost EUR 9.900, per person to be paid in advance of Module I (excluding travel costs and hotel accommodation). Registration Register by the end of February 2017 at the latest.
