1 Help us get products to where they are needed most

2 th This year In Kind Direct is celebrating its 20 Anniversary. It's an opportunity to thank and recognise all those who have contributed to our growth over the years. But it's also the time to look forward and embed our vision for the next 20 years. We want to build our awareness, engage with new product donors and drive a significant shift in operational capacity so that we can support thousands more charities. We need all the help we can get to raise precious funds to to get products to where they are needed most. In Kind Direct s model generates a powerful multiplier effect. Every pound donated is multiplied at least 12 times over in value of product distributed to charities working in the UK. Read on to see how you, your colleagues and your friends can help us this year. 3 What is In Kind Direct? A registered UK charity founded in 1996 by HRH The Prince of Wales, In Kind Direct distributes usable consumer products donated by some of the UK s best known retailers and manufacturers to thousands of charities working in the UK and abroad. Charities need all kinds of products to help support their services to people in need, from toys and clothes for a special needs nursery to bedding and cleaning supplies for a domestic violence shelter. But for small charities, finding the funds to pay for the goods they need is increasingly difficult. In Kind Direct is a one-stop solution providing the infrastructure to accept large quantities of goods and to store, sort and deliver them directly to charities in its network. Since foundation In Kind Direct has supplied 170 million worth of goods from over 1,000 donor companies to more than 8,300 charity partners. Product giving has a powerful impact on communities, but also benefits the environment. To date, In Kind Direct has diverted an estimated 20,000 tonnes of product from landfill.
