The percetile is the percetage of resposes i a group that have values less tha or equal to that particular value. For example, whe data are arraged from lowest to highest, the 25th percetile is the poit at which 75% of the data are above ad 25% are below it. Coversely, the 75th percetile is the poit at which 25% of the data are above ad 75% are below it. Media (50th percetile) The media is the midpoit of the set of umbers or values arraged i ascedig order.
