2 As once said by Mother Teresa "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than bread". These lines appropriately describe the importance and the necessity of recognizing and honoring the hard work, success and milestones achieved by professionals in their area of work. Realising very well the fact that sheer motivation can do wonders, the Committee for Members in Industry & Business of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is organizing ICAI's Leader's & Business Excellence Awards, 2018 on 1st & 2nd February, 2019 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai where awardees would be felicitated at the glittering Gala night. These awards were instituted in 2007 to acknowledge and reward the exceptional work of the members who are creating fame for the entire CA fraternity as "ICAI Awards". These also aim to recognize the outstanding performance and contribution of Chartered Accountants towards the ultimate goal of nation building. The members of the institute holding top management positions viz. Chairmen, Directors, CFOs and CEOs have been the recipients of these prestigious awards in the past. This year, we have created separate awards for the Members in Industry i.e. ICAI's Leaders Awards and Business i.e. Business Excellence Awards, 2018 for the dynamic and talented members who have stepped out of the comfort zone and shown exemplary achievements. All the members in the industry are invited to nominate themselves for awards and motivate others as well to showcase their achievements over a period of time by lling the nomination forms, according to eligibility criteria.
