The Government s Pathways to Work (2012) p olicy statement outlined the Department of Social Protection s commitment to tackling unemployment and fuelling Ireland s economic recovery by filling as many job opportunities as possible with people from the Live Register. 4 DELIVERY MODEL STAKEHOLDERS Seetec s delivery model consists of four stages, co-ordinated by a dedicated Employment Adviser who oversees the participant journey from referral through to completion. Our service will be flexible and personalised to each individual s needs and circumstances. STAGE 1 ENGAGEMENT Participants will have a 1:1 assessment with their Employment Adviser to determine their skills, competencies, career aspirations and aptitude. Following this, a Personal Progression Plan will be created and used to inform the participant s journey in the following stages. Seetec view stakeholder engagement as critical to the success of JobPath. While employment can tackle many of the needs and barriers that participants may face, it is only one solution. By integrating and aligning JobPath with other regional and national services significant mutual benefits are created: Delivery is met at a local, regional and national level; Provision and support for those in need is more connected; Duplication of services is avoided; Service delivery is cost effective ensuring better for less outcomes. During both the implementation and delivery of JobPath, Seetec is engaging with a wide range of organisations to both inform them of JobPath and to identify any areas where we can work together. This engagement and work with stakeholders will ensure that JobPath provision adds substantial value to the communities it serves. STAGE 2 GATEWAY This stage is tailored to individual needs, lasting a maximum of 20 working days. In this time individuals will: complete the Personal Progression Plan; receive careers advice and guidance; develop an up to date CV and be assigned to a Job Track.
