3 Pricol Limited LEAVE PROCEDURE FOR EMPLOYEES Page:3/5 1. OBJECTIVE To have work-life balance and to take time off for any emergency / exigency / sickness 2. ELIGIBILITY Applicable to Staff of Pricol Limited across all locations 3. LEAVE YEAR April to March is the leave year. During the first year of service, leave will be calculated on pro-rata basis. 4. LEAVE DAYS Staffs will be eligible for 30 days of leave during the leave year. Staff should avail a minimum of 20 days leave during the leave year, else it will automatically lapse. Balance of only 10 days can be accumulated. The leave can be accumulated up to a maximum of 30 days. Leave beyond 30 days of accumulation, will be encashed automatically in the month of April. For the employees joining during the year, the leave will be credited on pro-rata basis. They are also required to avail leave as per the minimum availing criteria on a pro-rata basis. From the beginning of the new financial year, the rules regarding the days of leave and encashment will apply. The basis of calculation for encashment is Basic + HRA + Conveyance (No other allowances will be considered) At the time of voluntary separation, leave calculation and encashment will be applied on pro-rata basis. For all other forms of separation, it is at the discretion of the management to encash the entire leave outstanding in the employees account. Notice period cannot be adjusted against outstanding leave. 5. LEAVE SANCTIONING PROCESS Leave planning is to be done in the beginning of the leave year, keeping the interest of the Company. It is the joint responsibility of every staff and their Immediate Superior/Head of the department to ensure this. It is mandatory that the Unit Management Team and Senior Management Team submit the finalized leave plan to the concerned CXOs.

4 Pricol Limited LEAVE PROCEDURE FOR EMPLOYEES Page:4/5 Prior approval has to be taken for availing leave from Immediate Superior and Head of the Department. It is understandable that leave has to be taken on account of sickness or personal emergency or bereavement in the family and cannot be intimated in advance. In such cases, the employee will have to inform their Immediate Superior or Head of the Department as soon as he/she has decided to take such leave. As a general rule, no loss of pay leave will be encouraged. Such leave will have to be approved by the concerned CXO and CPO based on the recommendation from the respective Unit HR Manager. 6. LEAVE WITHOUT PAY Extension of leave is not encouraged. Due to unavoidable reasons or on medical grounds, Staff can avail leave over and above their entitlement of 30 days in a year. The concerned Staff is not entitled to salary in such cases; however, it is mandatory to obtain sanction from the Immediate Superiors/ Head of Department. Not obtaining sanction within 5 days will be treated as absent and considered as Unauthorized Leave. Staff availing medical leave due to accident or otherwise, shall immediately inform the same to their Immediate Superior/ Head of Department and HR department for claiming insurance or other benefits, where eligible. 7. UNAUTHORISED LEAVE Any leave that is not authorized by Immediate Superior/ Head of Department is considered as unauthorized leave and subject to disciplinary action. The Immediate Superior shall inform the Unit HR Manager and Compensation and Benefit Manager immediately about such unauthorized absence. HR Department will call the employee and ascertain the reasons for such absence and recommend appropriate action to be taken. 8. MATERNITY LEAVE Maternity leave will be sanctioned to the eligible Staff as per the provisions of The Maternity Benefit Act, Amendments made in the act from time to time will also be considered. 9. WORK RECORDING SYSTEM All leave shall be applied through Work Recording System (WRS) or any new system which may be introduced by the Management. It is the responsibility of Staff to apply for leave through WRS or any other system in lieu of, which may be introduced.

At any point in time, employee will be able to see his / her leave balances. For any queries, please get in touch with Unit HR Head/ Compensation & Benefits team. Management reserves the right to amend / modify / withdraw or introduce a new leave Procedure at its own discretion. Should there be any interpretation issues; the decision of Management shall be final.
