No Section 1: Purpose Lead the development of enterprise applications architecture, roadmaps and frameworks for Sydney Water Digital Assets. 2 Section 2: Key accountabilities and outcomes/tasks Technical accountabilities Lead the delivery of strategy and roadmaps for: - business applications - mobile applications - cloud services (SaaS) Develop reusable application principles, standards, patterns and building blocks for optimal cost, speed and adaptability Engage with and manage third parties in the provision of applications architecture services Execute the application portfolio asset planning process, maintaining the application and service inventory master Ensure maximum customer value from digital solutions through applications compliance to IT principles and standards including technology, information, integration, security and cost estimations Programming accountabilities Systems or process accountabiliity: Enterprise application architecture development processes and governance Responsible for content assurance of related artefacts Major application assets including SAP, Siebel, Access, Maximo, GIS and FRM SOA design process Signature behaviours All staff are accountable for demonstrating Sydney Water s signature behaviours of: Focus on solutions (Positive attitude, change ready, improvement and insight) Demonstrate a positive outlook e.g. constructive language, active listening Find a way to make things better Display openness to suggestions, new ideas and new ways of working Stand up and contribute (Participation, collaboration, courage and respect) Actively participate and work with others to make it happen Challenge respectfully Share knowledge and offer opinions Do what you say (Honesty, integrity, transparency and trust) Agree what to do and by when; get it done and do it well Demonstrate openness and honesty Regularly update, inform and share information Policy owner: Manager, Recruitment & Onboarding Page 2 of 6

Desired Experience: Post Graduate Qualifications in Information Technology or Business experience in the utilities sector Formal education: Tertiary degree in Technology; Formal architecture Qualification TOGAF or demonstrated equivalent business experience Skills Specific skills, software packages or licences required to perform the position and at what level. Minimum 15 years experience in Information Technology at a scale similar to Sydney Water (Spend 50 Million CapEx) Minimum eight (8) years experience in Applications/Solutions Architecture Appropriate Information technology qualifications Knowledge of relevant Application and Solution Technologies Experience in dealing with technology vendors Commercial acumen and business understanding. Previous management or supervisor experience Contract definition and management expertise Sound working knowledge of IT management and Architecture methods including SOA, TOGAF, RUP, Prince 2, ITIL and ITSM Additional knowledge and skills Desirable knowledge, skills or experience needed for the position. Post Graduate Qualifications in Information Technology or Business Experience in the utilities sector Physical requirements Office Based Description: Works in an office and does no field work.
