Training - Current 40-hur training refresher in Hazardus Waste Clean-up Operatins accrding t Federal Occupatinal Safety & Health Administratin, Title 29 Part desired. Assist in staking and determining elevatins f test bring lcatins in the field. Assist the driller in drilling and sampling f test brings and related subsil explratin functins. Assist the driller in placement and develpment f grundwater mnitring wells. Our cmpany emplyment philsphies is t crss-train ur Technicians and teach them abut the varius kinds f wrk IME perfrms. In additin t drilling, they culd be invlved in surveying, civil, envirnmental, and getechnical and gelgic prjects frm time t time. While we d nt expect everyne t be an expert in all these areas, we believe that ur Technicians shuld have a basic understanding f ur cre business activities and shuld be able t help ut in all f these disciplines as the need arises. TYPICAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE POSITION: Must be able t fllw instructin, and wrk independently, r as part f a prject team. Cmplete assigned tasks in a timely, lgical manner and exercise discretin and gd judgment in accmplishing assigned tasks and gals. Must have rganizatinal, cmmunicatin, interpersnal, and intellectual skills Ability t rganize, priritize, and fllw multiple prjects and tasks t cmpletin. Ability t cmmunicate well, bth verbally and in written frm. Ability t wrk in adverse weather cnditins, nights, weekends, and hlidays, if needed. Willingness t wrk mre than 45 hurs per wrkweek as the jb schedule dictates. TRAINING: Current 40-hur training refresher in Hazardus Waste Clean-up Operatins accrding t Federal Occupatinal Safety & Health Administratin, Title 29 Part desired. Mandatry attendance t annual Crprate Safety Training Week. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability t represent IME in a prfessinal manner including, but nt limited t, persnal appearance and cleanliness, and cmmunicatins techniques with clients, fellw emplyees and anyne with whm yu cme in cntact at any time during wrking hurs. Gd judgment, cnsistent with acceptable business nrms, shuld serve as a basis fr the measurement f persnal appearance and cleanliness. Extremes f any srt are unacceptable. A valid driver's license will be required if an essential jb functin requires yu t perate a cmpany wned r leased mtr vehicle. Fr applicants that meet this criteria a Mtr Vehicle Reprt (MVR) will be requested and applicants with three mving vilatins within the last three years r a DWUI cnvictin within the last five years will be autmatically deleted frm further cnsideratin fr emplyment. Ability t cmplete required training and t pass required tests necessary t btain the certificatins required t perfrm the duties and respnsibilities f the psitin.
