14 OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL OUR PEOPLE Working for FDM has been fantastic; being a vibrant and culturally diverse company makes for a great working environment and being in a position to help those leaving the military find a second career is extremely satisfying. Dan Power, Regional Manager, Ex-Forces Programme, UK I consider FDM to be a fair employer that values their staff and are very attentive to the needs and requirements of their trainees, Consultants and clients. Isabelle Magaiga, FDM Consultant, Singapore I chose FDM because of the structure of their programme, the programme options and placement process. FDM has also been very active in employing Women in IT as well as military veterans, which is very important for me. Lissette Roca, FDM Consultant and Military Veteran, USA 14

15 I feel FDM provides a very open environment where it is easy to find like-minded individuals who want to be part of something great. There is a lot of diversity at FDM which allows for people to communicate and learn more effectively, no matter where you come from. Sebastiano Faschi, FDM Consultant, USA During my time in Academy I met an incredible array of people, both in terms of cultures and backgrounds and in turn, I have made friends with so many people from all over the world. The great thing about FDM is that they are incredibly inclusive in the way that they recruit; FDM does not limit how they find great talent. Zahra Thomas, FDM Alumna, UK Working for FDM opens doors that would otherwise be inaccessible to people with nontraditional IT backgrounds. The fact that after my training, I would be in a role at one of FDM s many reputable clients gave me the confidence to take that step. Ashik Nanji, FDM Consultant, UK 15
