1 Occupation: Store Assistant Occupation Description: The Store Assistant is responsible for updating stock levels in the inventory data system. He/She is aware of the importance of inventory control and maintains adequate stock levels to avoid overstocking and obsolescence/aged lots. He/She is conversant with the store layout, rotates stock in accordance with organisational guidelines to avoid wastage and ensures handling and storage meet the required standards. The Store Assistant ensures all areas of the stores are clean and tidy at all times.
