RESEARCH IN PROGESS The Fuzzy DBA Line: Knowledge Transfer and Transformation in the Lives of Doctorate of Business Administration Alumni. Submitted to the 2017 Midwest Academy of Management. A nuanced exploration of the experience of alumni of a part-time DBA program, examining how program learning and development is manifested in the professional and personal lives of program graduates. This paper contributes to the growing interest in alternative doctoral education programming, extending insight from the student and recent graduate experience to the more distal effects of program-related learning. Potential target journal: Journal of Management Education. An empirical investigation of the impacts of large- group organizational visioning. This study, based on survey and qualitative data, explores the relationships of participation in a large-group visioning process, personal impacts, and perceived organizational impacts. Target journal: Group & Organization Management. Grace at the Interface. A concept paper for consideration at 2017 Midwest Academy of Management meeting. The paper explores interfaces in which grace may operate in the workplace, both intra personally and interpersonally. This paper builds on some work developed for the paper presented at the 2016 Midwest Academy Paper Toward a Place for Grace in Management Research, October 2016, Fargo ND. Potential target journal: Journal of Management, Spirituality and Religion. Stories of Grace. A qualitative study of individuals concepts of grace, its manifestations, consequences and potential downsides in the workplace. 30 interviews conducted. The goal is to present a nuanced understanding of people s experience of grace, as givers and receivers, in the workplace.
