Recognition of their choices to work safely How often do you deliver Feedback now? Slide 15 HOW TO DELIVER FEEDBACK FOR SAFE BEHAVIOR Situation S B Impact I Give your feedback some context. Describe the action(s) that someone did. What is the result of their behavior on them, coworkers, family? Describe what was happening, or when you observed the situation Use VERBS, action words What was the impact on you. Use I statements 15

PAUSE B Describe the at-risk behavior observed Here is where you have the conversation about their choices and responsibility for their own safety Impact I What COULD be the result of their behavior on them, coworkers, family?
