AUTOMATIC LOADING-UNLOADING TRAILER-DOCKS INTEGRATED SYSTEM. Moveco Systems Rollerkit system has the possibility of using several Moveco Systems trailers that shuttle between the factory and the warehouse at a rate of one trailer every 15 minutes at busy times. Moveco Systems fixed docks can be fed by a conveyor system, direct from the production lines. Below: fixed unloading dock, direct linked to the warehouse, by transfer communication protocol. A bove: front view. Loading dock with side shifting shape control gauge gate ( 70 mm). Levelling docking brackets for correct line up and centering of semitrailers. Front drive unit.

The trailers can be custom built from new and incorporate a Moveco Systems Rollerkit system in their floor. The chain and roller system in the trailer floor is lowered during transit to stop the load moving, then on arrival, the driver lifts them in the bed of the trailer by a pneumatic system, under the chains and rollertracks. Right: (Mennucci pasta). Low version dock, without underframe, for high platforms. Right: Side shifting load shape control gauge gate with swinging walls. (Akzo Nobel) High version dock, with underframe, standing direct on the floor, ground zero. Above: Moveco Systems fixed dock, linked by a conveyor system direct to the warehouse. (Ponti vinegar).

According to every specific warehouse logistic flow, Moveco Systems can study and realize innovative and custom made solutions. Standard length is 14,000 m, RAL colours at Customers choice. On the right, details of ASFORDBY (U.K.) unloading dock, with a special shape to enable the reading of the bar-codes between the two lines of the incoming pallets. Left and right:: Details of APRILIA (I) unloading dock, with its linked custom made wooden pallet dispenser. Special shape for motorbikes.

The air for the pneumatic system on board comes from the standard truck tank. Power for the chains can be either self-supplied by the trailer or to the trailer from the warehouse power supply and connected using a quick disconnect plug and socket arrangement. The driver controls the loading and unloading via a handheld control box, connected by an umbilical cord, or from the dock general control board. Above: chain and roller system in the trailer floor, with pneumatic lift. Once at the warehouse the trailers can have the choice of two or more Moveco Systems docks and the driver is directed to the available dock by means of a simple traffic light system, advising him which dock is available. Right: electric-pneumatic control box Above: semitrailer front drive unit. A step by step automatic control system is foreseen, if necessary, for a perfect work when using fork-lift trucks..

The driver reverses the trailer onto a leveller roller assembly, this ensures that the floor of the trailer matches the level of the fixed Moveco Systems dock in the warehouse, irrelevant to the weight of the load in the trailer: (below). The automatic opening and shutting door, before and after the loading and unloading, is assured by the dock software. A photocell safety barrier is foreseen to protect the door from the load. A traffic light put outside can show the current door positions as well as the trailer properly docked: (above). Once docked, the driver walks to the rear of his trailer, where he plugs in the power supply for the trailer and, by using the control unit, he drives the complete load out of or into the trailer in one fluid movement, at the working speed of 6/8 m/min., in 90 seconds. After all the pallets are brought onto the fixed Moveco Systems dock or trailer, the driver disconnects his umbilical power cable and returns to the factory for another load.
