4 PERFORMANCE Preserving Sample Integrity through Controlled Cold Chain Management Sample integrity is our top priority Best-in-class temperature homogeneity: By placing the evaporators above the samples, your samples will experience the same temperature no matter where they are located in the BioStore II. Minimize thermal disruption when accessing samples: A passive tile wall insulates the storage compartment and allows for rapid sample access. When samples are requested, less than 1% of the tile wall is opened. This ensures innocent samples are not exposed to unnecessary temperature cycling. Resilience: The BioStore II has fully redundant refrigeration circuits, dedicated UPS, and the option for liquid nitrogen backup in case of power failure. Maintain -80 C sample temperature when picking: BioStore II offers optional -80 C picking, both picked and innocent samples can be maintained at -80 C.
