We utilise a variety of tools, documentation and training to ensure our personnel are prepared to identify, measure and manage risks in their work areas. 4 Incident Response The traffic management services we deliver to our clients benefit from years of experience in incident management nationally and internationally. 5 Traffic plans, permits licenses Providing our clients with the complete traffic management solutions, Egis routinely prepares and lodges applications for permits including: RMS Road Occupancy License (ROL) or letter of authority, work permits and crane applications. These are prepared in accordance with NSW requirements and Australian Standard AS Complete traffic management solutions Certified Traffic Management Personnel Egis ensures employees are prepared and ready to perform traffic management by deploying professional and licensed personnel. Each Traffic Controller holds as a minimum: a current driver s license and valid WHS induction card (White Card), and Blue and Yellow RMS Traffic Controllers cards. Recognising that effective traffic management balances project objectives with road user impact, we are responsive to the changing conditions. All crews are deployed with either a Supervisor or Team Leader that hold the necessary RMS accreditations ensuring our teams are able to modify, or select alternative traffic guidance schemes (TGS) while on-site to respond to the dynamic environment they are working in. 6 Vehicles, Plant and Equipment Egis invests in modern plant and equipment to provide an integrated service to its clients. Our modern fleet of high profile heavy vehicles, are purpose built and fitted out with signage, directional arrow boards and personal safety equipment in accordance with industry standards. Recognising the growing requirements for truck mounted attenuators (TMA) Egis has a fleet of 16 tonne trucks with scorpion TL-3 mounted attenuators. These vehicles have been built to the national guidelines for the use of truck mounted attenuators (TMA s). Other vehicles in our traffic management fleet include drop deck trucks and light vehicles equipped with arrow boards, and standard traffic management equipment. Egis also maintains auxiliary equipment traffic equipment including: portable variable message boards, arrow boards and lighting towers. This equipment is available for dry hire.
