11 Some milestones IKEA COMPACTAINER TRAY-DOLLY-PALLET IN-HOUSE ELECTRO ZINC- PLATING K. Hartwall starts a 20 year collaboration with IKEA learning the fundamentals of Lean manufacturing. K. Hartwall develops together with ICA the first nesting roll container revolutionising the Retail industry. Together with the Beverage industry K. Hartwall develops the Tray-Dolly-Pallet system. The most modern facility to day, in-house electro zinc-plating facility, is inaugurated.

12 Some milestones LEAN DOLLY-ADAPTOR PALLET GLOBAL DELIVERY NETWORK PIEK CERTIFICATION VISIMORE The automotive industry needed an effective logistics solution so we developed the Lean Adaptor Pallet and Dolly solution. KHW Global Delivery Network in place with own leading factory in Finland and partnered production in Central Europe and Asia. PIEK certification: K. Hartwall strengthens its position in developing low noise returnable good carriers. Visimore a truly new way to proactively manage the assets in supply chain is launched.
