Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd., Cargo Terminal 2, IGIA, New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Mr. Vipan Jain, Chairman, ACFI Task Pillar- Skill Development and Chief Operating Officer, M/s. Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd wherein the course outline of Advance Cargo Training Program was deliberated as per attachment. It was decided that the course contents may be arranged according to the outline of the course so that the schedule of Advance Cargo Training Program is decided at the earliest possible time. MEETING WITH KPMG ON ACFI WHITEPAPER, THE POTENTIAL OF AIR CARGO LOGISTICS INDUSTRY AND ITS CHALLENGES The Meeting with KPMG on ACFI Whitepaper, potential of Air Cargo Logistics Industry and its challenges held on 23rd August 2018 at Board Room, 1st Floor, M/s. Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd., Cargo Terminal - 2, IGIA, New Delhi under the chairmanship of Mr. Tushar K Jani, President, ACFI. It was decided that the KPMG would be requested to make available the final draft the potential of Air Cargo Logistics Industry and its challenges on top priority. M/s KPMG the knowledge partner of ACFI has since submitted the ACFI draft Whitepaper, the potential of Air Cargo Logistics Industry which is likely to be finalized by the ACFI board in its next meeting scheduled on 30th October, 2018 for onward submission to Hon ble Minister of Civil Aviation. ACFI 51st GOVERNING BOARD MEMBERS MEETING The 51st ACFI Governing Board members meeting was held on at Board Room, 1st Floor, Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd, Cargo Terminal 2, IGI Airport, New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Mr. Tushar K. Jani, President ACFI. Mr. Tushar Jani thanked all the board members for reposing confidence and belief in him by re-electing him as President ACFI for the 2nd consecutive term He assured his full commitment to discharge the responsibilities of President, ACFI assigned to him. He also requested the support of all 9 elected Board Members and their cooperation. He welcomed the board members present in the 50th ACFI governing board meeting and expressed his full confidence that the team shall work with full dedication another two year tenure of for the motive of the ACFI and development of the air cargo logistics trade and industry.

All the members applauded the kind gesture of Mr. Cyrus Katgara for the deserving cause. ACFI MEMBERS MEETING WITH EXTERNAL AGENCIES i) Mr. Tushar K. Jani, President ACFI and Mr. K. S. Kunwar, Director General, ACFI attended the meeting organized by Department of Logistics, Ministry of Commerce & Industry on National Logistics Portal - II Stakeholder Consultation held on 18th September 2018 at Multipurpose Hall, India International Centre, Lodhi Estate, Max Muller Marg, Lodhi Gardens, New Delhi. Mr. Jani while appreciating the initiatives of the Logistics Department expressed his view points on the future National Logistics Portal for taking care the needs of the air cargo logistics industry. ii) Mr. Tushar K. Jani, President ACFI and Mr. K. S. Kunwar, Director General, ACFI attended the 12 th Air Cargo Logistics Promotion Board (ACLPB) meeting organized by Ministry of Civil Aviation on 19 th September, 2018 at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, New Delhi under the chairpersonship of Mr. Jayant Sinha Hon ble Minister of State Civil Aviation. Mr. Tushar Jani presented the following four agenda points of ACFI forwarded earlier to Ministry of Civil Aviation. Point No.1: Customs to introduce online Amendment Process for the short landing of import cargo cases in place of existing manual processing which takes 3-7 days for approval. Point No.2: AD Code Registration should be done through online centrally - in the Customs EDI system Point No.3: Customs to allow transportation of bonded cargo of multiple Cargo Terminal Operators (CTO) of an Airport in a single bonded truck to carry up to final destination for optimum utilization of bonded truck space and to save transportation cost (transaction cost). Point No.4: Customs to formulate a new simplified Transshipment Cargo Policy.

Kunwar, Director General ACFI and Mr. Yashpal Taneja, Fedex as member of ACFI attended the Interactive Session on ITC Refund with Member GST on 9th Aug 2018 at FIEO Auditorium, Niryat Bhawan, organized by Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO). The team of Member GST explained a number of issues being faced by the EXIM trade & Industry after GST was implemented. 2. ACTIVITIES OF ACFI CHAPTERS a) ACFI AHEMDABAD CHAPTER - ACFI BASIC CARGO AWARENESS PROGRAM (BCAP) ACFI Basic Cargo Awareness Program (BCAP) duly approved by MoCA was organized by ACFI Ahmedabad Chapter on 24th August, 2018 at Ahmedabad Management Association, Ahmedabad with the support of M/s. GSEC Limited for the members of the entire air cargo logistics stakeholders at Ahmedabad. One full day training program was inaugurated jointly by Mr. Samir Mankad, Chairman ACFI Ahmedabad Chapter, CEO & Executive Director, M/s. GSEC Limited and Mr. P. G. Patel of Jeena & Co. who heads ACAAI at Ahmedabad. The training faculty support was given by M/s. Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India Pvt. Ltd. s qualified trainer Mr. Ratin Raval, Manager Training & Development (HR). 35 nos. of participants from entire air cargo logistics trade attended the BCAP training program and were conferred certificate for having attended the ACFI BCAP training program effectively. As per feedback received, all the participants appreciated ACFI BCAP training program which would help them to improve their day today working. The program was sponsored by M/s. GSEC Limited.

5 PAGE - 5 ACFI Newsletter - Issue No.33, October 2018 b) ACFI DELHI CHAPTER ORGANIZED AWARENESS PROGRAMS i) ACFI Delhi Chapter organized an awareness program on E-Airway Bill Process, Method and Benefits held on 29 th Aug 2018 at DCSC Cafeteria, 1st Floor, Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd., International Cargo Terminal 2, IGI Airport New Delhi. Mr. Parvinder Singh, Managing Director - M/s. Hans Infomatic Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor, District Manager - Logistics & Operations - M/s. Lufthansa Cargo were the guest speakers. Above 40 nos. of participants from entire air cargo logistics trade attended the program which was and well appreciated by all the attendees. The program was sponsored by M/s. Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India Pvt. Ltd. ii) ACFI Delhi Chapter organized an Awareness Workshop on Understanding Custom Procedure Current and Forthcoming on 12th September 2018 at Board Room, 3rd Floor, M/s. Skyways Air Services Pvt. Ltd., A-128 & 129, Mahipalpur Extn., National Highway - 8, New Delhi. Mr. Raj Sharma, Manager Air Operations - North India, M/s. Skyways Air Services Pvt. Ltd. Was the guest speaker for the workshop. 19 Nos. of participants from entire air cargo logistics trade attended the workshop. The program was sponsored by M/s. Skyways Air Services Pvt. Ltd.

6 PAGE - 6 ACFI Newsletter - Issue No.33, October ACFI INITIATIVES SPECIAL SESSION ON AIR CARGO POLICY 2018 ACFI organized a Special Session on Air Cargo Policy held on 20th September 2018 at DCSC Cafeteria, 1st Floor, Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd., International Cargo Terminal 2, IGI Airport New Delhi. 20 Nos. of participants from entire air cargo logistics trade attended the workshop. The program was sponsored by M/s. Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd. 4. WELCOME OF NEW ACFI MEMBERS i) M/s. TMS Logistics joined the ACFI as Customs Broker and authorized representative is Mr. Vitesh Sharma, Owner. TMS Logistics a well-established Customs Broking & Freight Forwarding service provider established by group of trade visionaries with years of hands on industry experience to provide comprehensive solutions to all the logistics needs of client in the region. ii) M/s. ONS Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. joined the ACFI as Customs Broker and authorized representative is Mr. Anil Kumar, Managing Director. ONS Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. is an International Freight Forwarding and Custom Broker with a worldwide network of representatives and alliances. They provide general and specialized logistic services utilizing air, sea and land transportation.

7 PAGE - 7 ACFI Newsletter - Issue No.33, October 2018 iii) M/s. SCA Logistics Pvt. Ltd. joined the ACFI as Customs Broker and authorized representative is Mr. P. Deshmukh, Operation Manager. SCA Group was established in 1896 under the name Kanji Mahadev & Co. Later in 1927, the Company was registered as a customs house broker. More than a hundred years later, SCA is a one stop shop for all services relating to Logistics and Supply Chain Management. iv) M/s. Blue Sea Shipping Agency Pvt. Ltd. joined the ACFI as Customs Broker. Mr. Tushar K. Jani, Chairman is the authorized representative of the Agency. Blue Sea is expertise in combination of various modes of transport ensures door to door delivery and reduction in transit time and cost. It is a Multimodal Transport Operator registered in India. v) M/s. Vinsons Air Services Pvt. Ltd. joined the ACFI as Freight Forwarder and authorized representative is Mr. Rajiv Bhatt (Manager) and Mr. Nanik Ahuja (Sr. Executive). Vinsons a name well known in the industry of customs brokering, cargo handling and port stevedoring in the shipping circles, was established over 50 years ago by the Vazirani family. With a full fledged infrastructure as its disposal Vinsons was in a position to cater to the wide requirements of its customers which included a number shipping lines as its principals. It was in 1963 that Vinsons found that its customers needed a company to handle its airfreight cargoes. As such Vinsons obtained its IATA License under Vinsons Air Services Pvt. Ltd., to handle the requirements of its airfreight customers and today it is headed by Ms. Nandita Khosla & Ms. Nalini Jani who are the second generation of the Vazirani family and both qualified IATA professionals. Vinsons Air Services Pvt. Ltd. has its office and warehouse in close proximity to the air cargo complex in Mumbai which is equipped with systems and a dedicated staff of professionals qualified as required by IATA Regulations. Vinsons Air Services Pvt. Ltd. is today geared to offer its clients and international partners a range of services. Its FIATA membership has enabled it services not limited to just Airfreight but with associates and international partners is in a position to offer freight forwarding services and logistics solutions throughout the country for all cargoes to and from India. vi) M/s. Nexxus Freight Logistics Systems Pvt. Ltd. joined the ACFI as Freight Forwarder and authorized representative is Mr. Sumit Behal, Managing Director. Nexxus Freight Logistics Systems Pvt. Ltd started in 1998 solely for the purpose of providing efficient and reliable services to the shippers, consignees and overseas partner agents. Over the past few years, have grown in leaps and bounds and is one of the leading Freight forwarders in Indian market. It is a Custom house Licensed Agents (C.H.A) also and offer all custom clearance services for Import and Export cargo (Air and Sea). 5. ACFI MEMBER S COLUMN ACHIEVERS I. M/S. Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited first Air Cargo Terminal in India to Introduce End-to-End Cargo Tracking using RFID Technology at Bengaluru Airport. AISATS becomes the first Air Cargo Terminal Operator in India to introduce advanced RFID based Real-Time Cargo Tracking System at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB). This technological initiative is a collaboration between AISATS and its Singapore-listed joint venture stakeholder, SATS Ltd. The tracking system is done by way of RFID tags that hold AWB related information. These tags are affixed to shipments and scanned using RFID scanners at various stages of cargo handling. This digital corridor empowers users to track their cargo right from acceptance to delivery in real time. The platform is capable of tracking shipments at two levels the shipment piece level and the ULD/container level. Furthermore, this technology can be leveraged for a gamut of cargo services such as express cargo, valuables and perishables amongst others.

8 PAGE - 8 ACFI Newsletter - Issue No.33, October 2018 ACFI Congratulates team AISATS to introduce advanced RFID based Real-Time Cargo Tracking System in the air cargo trade at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB). II. IGIA s Celebi Bonded Trucking spreads Wing to Ahmedabad. IGI Airport s Celebi Cargo Terminal, after successful launch of Bonded trucking from Kanpur, Ludhiana, Pithampur SEZ-1, SEZ-2 and NSEZ, have now commenced in partnership with Om Logistics and GSEC. This Bonded trucking offers following services- Assured Daily Departure Ahmedabad GSEC Terminal at 2100 hrs and arrival at Delhi Celebi Cargo Terminal within 26 to 28 hrs. Cargo for Vadodra, Surat, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar and Indore can now be customs cleared at GSEC Terminal in Ahmedabad. Assured same day connection from Delhi Airport upon arrival. For large consignment (6 Tons plus) additional capacity can be arranged at short notice. GPS enables Mobile APP for live tracking of cargo. IGI Airport has been continuously bringing new product and services to enhance the efficiency of overall Cargo Supply Chain. This is yet another initiative in that direction and it will greatly benefit the importers & freight forwarders, who need fast transit and connection of their cargo between DEL & AMD.

"We have issued airport licence to Kannur. This will be an international airport," said DGCA chief B S Bhullar on Thursday. The order issuing the license was signed by Bhullar on Thursday. He added that Hissar airport in Haryana has been given licence to have regional flights under the Regional Connectivity Scheme. The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), operated by DIAL, is the busiest aerodrome in the country and has three runways.
