Box Steilacoom, WA transportationclubofseattle@gmail.com Sam Howard serves as the Director of Logistics for PACCAR Inc, a Bellevue-based manufacturer of heavy and medium duty commercial vehicles. At PACCAR Sam is responsible for logistics strategy, procurement, and operations for the company s North American supply chain. He manages carrier relationships for all transportation providers, daily transportation execution, and customs compliance to ensure just -in-time delivery of all material to six production facilities and eight aftermarket parts distribution centers. Sam has worked for PACCAR for 13 years in various capacities, including Pricing, Finance, Leasing, Treasury, and Credit. He has a bachelor s degree from Gonzaga University in International Business and Management Information Systems, as well as a master s degree from Seattle University in Finance. The Deadline to apply is October 15 th, Jeff Clark (Schneider National), who has helped guide our club since 2011, has decided to transition out of his role as the TCS Executive Director. Jeff will remain as a club member. We are looking for a talented and organized person to accept the challenge of being our next Executive Director. This a modestly paid position. Deadline to apply is October 5 th, Can you hear the holiday bell s ringing already? The annual Holiday Luncheon & Auction will be held on December 7 th, 2016 at the Museum of Flight. We ringing the bell for Sponsorships & Donation s. Our Goal this year is $25K. 4. Dessert Sponsorships are available for November, February & March. For $ you can display your products & services in the lobby before and after the lunch. You also will get the opportunity to tell the crowd a bit about your company or organization during the meeting. 5. Effectively immediately, we will be moving to a Pre-Paid Reservation system.
