3 Technical Specification Inductive Coupled Plasma (ICP-OES) S.No Item Description Qty FOR Price C&F Price 01 The ICP-OES must be simultaneous spectrometer The equipment must come from a reputable brand in the market with direct manufacturer support - engineer, application and logistics locally. It must have a strong track record for reliability, robustness and reproducibility. The ICP-OES Spectrometer should be the latest technology breakthrough conceived to substantially elevate performance in QA/QC and routine laboratories for testing all applications. Instrument Software should be capable of Validation of Instrument & self test the instrument. The ICP-OES should offers laboratories broad analytical capabilities with stability and sensitivity combined with a low cost of analysis. 02 Optical Design: Duo View 03 Grating: Echelle type grooves/mm ruled grating 383 mm Focal length 9.5 o UV Fused Silica cross Dispersion Prism 04 Wave Length: nm 05 Spectral band pass: 7pm at 200 nm 06 Detector: High performance CID86 Chip RF Source: The ICP spectrometer must employ a water cooled MHz solid state RF generator exhibiting _78% efficiency of energy transfer and be directly coupled with a swing-frequency impedance control and power regulation to better than 0.1%. Duo plasma view configuration must have a 07 user definable output power from 750 to at least 1350W, controllable in 25W increments. Plasma ignition, operating power and shutdown must be computer controlled to enable optimized parameters to be stored in an analytical method and recalled and providing the ability to automatically alter plasma parameters during a run. Safety interlocks throughout the system must

4 08 09 provide safe shut down of the generator without damage to the instrument in the event of power failure. In addition, all failure events must be recorded to an electronic error file and must include event description, time and date. Sample Pump: 4 Channels, 12 roller peristaltic pump Sample Introduction System: The instrument Should include an ergonomically designed sample introduction area with a door panel that can be opened up to 270 for ease of access and maintenance. A high efficiency cyclonic spray chamber fitted with a high performance glass concentric nebulizer shall be provided for optimum stability and best detection limits with fast washout and minimum cross contamination. The ICP sample introduction system must include a fully integrated liquid drain sensor to enable safe, automated plasma shut-off in the event of a liquid line blockage or disconnection of the pump tubing. Plasma torch must be semi-demountable and configurable with interchangeable 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm quartz centre tubes or with 2.0mm ceramic centre tubes for use with highly aggressive sample matrices. Plasma torch must be easily installed in the ICP torch box using a single hand and must automatically align relative to the load coil and establish connections with plasma and auxiliary gases, this should be achieved from the exterior of the torch box. The plasma torch must lock in the torch box enabling removal of the centre tube for routine maintenance operations without extinguishing the plasma. A close coupled fully integrated 4-channel high precision 12 roller peristaltic pump must be provided for liquid sample introduction and must have a computer controllable speed of rpm. The peristaltic pump must automatically rotate slowly when set to standby mode to prevent damage to the pump tubing when the plasma automatically switches off. All gas flows must be optimized using individual computer controlled Mass-Flow Controllers (MFCs) and the nebulizer gas flow should be controlled in 0.01 L/min increments.

5 An optional Mass-Flow Control (MFC) unit must be configurable and operated under full software control to enable the introduction additional gases for advanced interference attenuation. Gas flow should be controllable on L/min increments in a flow range of 0 to 200mL/min. Sample Introduction Kits: HF Kit, Organics Kit, Aqueous Kit, High Solids Kit, SAMPLE INTRO. SPARES KIT Plasma Gas: Mass Flow Control, 0-20 L/min argon Nebulizer Gas: Mass Flow Control, from L/min Auxiliary Gas: Mass flow control, from 0-2L/min Water Recirculation: As supported for the system Sampling Kit: Aqueous and Organic Kit Humidifier: Argon Humidifier Standards: Single Element Standard for Calibration( Cr, Ni, Mo, Fe, Si, B, Al Cu, Mn, Ca, K, Mg, Na, Zn) 1000 ppm x 100ml Training: The supplier must provide training for the users of the instruments at site, after installation and commissioning. Computer with Printer Compatible PC " LCD/LED Processor Intel i7 3GHZ Ram 4 GB Hard Disk 1TB LCD 18" Windows 7/8 Original Software CD, Manuals (User Manual, Technical Manual) HP Laserjet P1102 System Warranty and Technical Support: On-site installation, commissioning, training and IQ/OQ (one vendor support) by factory-trained Engineer is required. Comprehensive support for equipment for a period of 12 months which will consist of the following at no extra cost:the warranty shall commence only upon successful completion of the Acceptance Test or
