4 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: 01 Cost of Tender Specification: By person: Rs.590/- per each specification 02 Date and time for sale of Tender Specifications: By person : From: to during office hours i.e., from 10:30 to 17:00 Hrs. on working days only 03 Last date and time for receipt of sealed tender at 15:00 Hrs. 04 Opening date and time of Tenders at 16:00 Hrs The cost of Tender Specifications should be paid by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of SE/OMC/ TSTRANSCO/Nizamabad on any Scheduled Bank payable at Nizamabad. No other mode of payment will be accepted. The requisition for Tender specifications received after due date and time will be rejected. The cost of Tender Specification will not be refunded under any circumstances. The sealed tenders shall be dropped in the tender box available in the Office of Superintending Engineer/OMC/ TSTRANSCO/ Nizamabad. The Tenders received after at 15:00 Hrs., and without proper superscription will be rejected. Tenders will be opened on at 16:00 Hrs. in the presence of the Tenderers or their authorized representatives as may be desired to be present at that time. The Superintending Engineer/OMC/Nizamabad reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason and for selection of contractor for awarding the work without assigning the procedure of selection and contractor who quoted does not have any right for awarding the work based on precedents, procedure followed at other places etc., 10 Note : i) If any of the dates mentioned in the tender notification and specification happens to be holiday due to unforeseen reasons, the same will be postponed to the next working day. Please enclose a copy of validity PEMD approved by CE/ZONE or CE/Transmission/ TSTRANSCO. 5 TERMS & CONDITIONS 01 The sealed covers should be superscripted with a). Tender Specification No. b). Tender for supply of c). E.M.D. paid vide Demand Draft No. Date Amount d). Terms of payment of TS. TRANSCO are accepted. e). Tender is valid for (120) days from the date of opening. The quotations received without the superscription shall be liable for rejection & returned. 02 Prices:- Prices should be firm in rupees. The basic price, taxes and duties shall be clearly furnished as indicated in schedule of quantity and price in Form-III (B) enclosed. 03 LOSS OR DAMAGE:-External damages or shortages that are prima facie the results of rough handling in transit or due to defective packing will be intimated within a fortnight of the receipt of the materials. Internal defects or shortages of any integral parts which cannot ordinarily be detected on a superficial visual examination though due to bad handling in transit of defective packing will be intimated within (2) months from the date of receipt of these articles, In either case the damaged or defective materials should be replaced you free of cost to the TSTRANSCO. 04 Payment:- 90% of the due price will be paid within 30 days after receipt of the goods in good condition and on receipt of suppliers bill in duplicate supported by duplicate copy of invoice duly certified by the consignee and balance 10% due on goods received in good condition will be made after completion of guaranteed performance period. Payment for the materials supplied will be made by crossed cheque payable at any scheduled bank of Head quarters of the paying officer. 05 Acceptance:- It is not binding on the purchaser to accept the lowest or any tender. The purchaser reserves the right to place orders with different firms. The quantities are also submit to modification at the time of placing the orders. 06 LEAFLETS & DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE:- Full descriptive particulars and working drawings of the materials offered should accompany the tender. Information regarding the country of manufacture origin of materials used in the manufacturing of the articles should be furnished. Delivery:- The materials shall have to be supplied within 30 days from the date of 07 receipt of the order. 08 Penalty for late Delivery:- In case of delay in delivery of materials the purchaser may at his option, impose a penalty for delayed ½ % per week for the value of goods undelivered, subject to the maximum of 5% of total value of purchase order. 09 E.M.D.:- Earnest money deposit equivalent to 2 % of the contract value should be furnished in shape of crossed DD drawn in favour of Superintending Engineer/OMC/ TSTRANSCO/ Nizamabad payable at Nizamabad along with the tender. If P.E.M.D. facility is available the same may furnished. E.M.D. paid will be returned in the case of un-successful tender. 10 Security Deposit:- The successful tenderer should furnish a Security deposit to 5 % of the total value in shape of crossed D.D. drawn in favour of Superintending Engineer/ OMC/ Nizamabad payable at Nizamabad. In the case of those who pay the EMD, it will be adjusted towards security deposits if the order is placed on them. If a PSD facility is available, the same may be furnished. 11 Validity:- The validity of the offer should not be less than 120 days from the due date of the enquiry. Any dispute of difference arising out of this should be got settled by the courts situated in Nizamabad only. 12 Test: Manufacturer s test certificates for routine tests specified in the relevant ISS/BSS/ AIPE should be in duplicate. The materials may be rejected if the test certificates are not satisfactory.

6 13 Performance guarantee:- The equipment is guaranteed for satisfactory operation for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the date of delivery whichever is earlier. If during this period, any of the materials are found defective, they shall be repaired/ replaced by you free of all cost to the TSTRANSCO within a reasonable time, which shall in a circumstance be more than the delivery time indicated in this order. 14 If any rate contract is held for the materials under enquiry, a copy of the rate contract may please be enclosed. 15 The SE/OMC/Nizamabad reserves right to reject any or all the tenders with out assigning any reasons and for selection of supplier for placing of purchase order without assigning the procedure of selection and contractor who quoted does not have any right for placing the order based on the procedure followed at other places etc., Office Address: Superintending Engineer, OMC Circle, TSTRANSCO, 132 KV Sub-station, Aryanagar, Nizamabad.
