6 Sea Freight Sea freight forms the backbone of global supply chains and as such General Cargo Asia offers a wide range of sea freight services starting from classic FCL and LCL handling up to combined Sea & Air products in order to achieve the best balance between costs and speed. We operate our own NVOCC and maintain close carrier relationship to ensure sufficient space and competitive rates at anytime. 8 Warehousing & Distribution Our strategically located branches in Hong Kong and Shenzhen provide about 13,000 ft² (ca m²) of air-conditioned storage space and are monitored through a 24 hours CCTV system and additional security controls. The warehouse is partly equipped with rack systems and managed by an interconnectable Warehouse Management System (WMS). Domestic and cross-border distribution service is available through means of an own dedicated truck, courier services and our partner network.
