3 About Company The SZCZESNIAK SV company s goal as the name suggests, is to develop a strong position as a leading manufacturer of special purpose vehicles, through the development of products and maintain a high quality, taking into account the necessary flexibility in the technique and a positive lead time, resulting from the needs of the market. 4 History In 1992, the company was founded as a private company called Special Vehicles Zbigniew Szczęśniak, Ltd. and in accordance with market demand specialized in the repair of fire engines. The next step was the production of brand new fire engines based on national brand chassis STAR 266 In addition to the production of specialized truck bodies engaged in the production crew cabs that were readily available at the time. This moment in the development of the company has set the direction of the company s development in the coming years. Then the chassis have been replaced by foreign national (2008 ) and offer crew cabs for trucks increased by cab vehicles Lublin. The following years saw further sustainable development of The Company is characterized by the introduction of an integrated system of quality ISO, the development of our products and continue to systematically increasing production. 6 Quality systems SZCZĘŚNIAK Special Vehicles was the first company in the fire industry in Poland which has implemented quality managment system in line with ISO 9001, and 19001, this later expanded to include an AQAP License of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration AQAP 2110:2006 ISO 9001:2008 Internal Control System PN-N-19001:2006 ISO 9001: quality management system, enabling deliveries to the armed forces of NATO states. The firm has also been awarded a certificate of credibility from the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency. 7 Technology Taking into account the need for continuous development of the potential and reliability of our products, the construction department makes use in its work of the most developed construction software, widely used in the automotive and aviation industries. Foremost among the results of this activity is a patented system of modular structures allowing a very broad potential for arrangement and full compatibility with the expectations of the end user. In addition, it permits later reconfiguration in the event of a change in vehicle purpose or equipment. Materials used guarantee complete reliability in our vehicles, even in the extreme conditions in which they are used. In order that our products are proven and reliable, the production process sees the use of computational programs allowing appropriate distributions for vehicle centre of gravity, and simulations of the operation of a given detail. This has a significant influence on vehicle handling properties as well as durability and reliability. 8 Military Products The core business of the SZCZĘŚNIAK SV company is the production of special purpose vehicles also for military customers. HEAVY WHEELED RECOVERY AND TECHNICAL SUP- PORT VEHICLE KWZT MAMMOTH. An important product of the company is Heavy Wheeled Recovery And Technical Support Vehicle designed to protect wheeled armored vehicles operating in difficult terrain also in the event of attack threat. KWZT was constructed on the TATRA T chassis. MOBILE COMMUNICATION AND COMMAND POINTS. The company s vehicles are also equipped with communications equipment and ordnance facilities, building container as well as stand-alone containers manufactured in accordance with customer requirements designed as a support for multi-service network-centric hardware and software modular platform, providing reliable communication and essential services significantly improving military operation. SAPPER VEHICLES. The offer of The Company complement military vehicles used to demilitarize operations and sapper support like EOD support and mine clearing. Together with JAKUSZ Company, we offer a wide range of vehicles equipped with ventilated container intended for transportation of medium size unexploded ordnance weighing the equivalent to 10 kg of pure TNT, undertaken by military patrols or other land engineering units. Adopted container protects individuals and surroundings effectively in the event of an uncontrolled explosion of unexploded ordnance, misfired ammunition or other hazardous explosive material, 8
