Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are fully ISO 9001/2008, AWS and IACS-certified. To further ensure the highest level of product integrity, we choose to meet the standards set forth by the Registro Italiano Navale (RINA) ensuring that all Tampa Defense (TD) products can be RINA High-Speed Craft Classed. Vertical integration gives us the ability to rapidly prototype, along with the flexibility to accommodate in-process changes. From design to delivery, most all the manufacturing disciplines are performed in house including tooling and mold making, vacuum lamination, AWS-certified metal fabrication, and mechanical and electrical services. Our highly skilled technicians are experts in a wide range of propulsion systems including diesel-powered water jets, surface drives, stern drives, conventional shaft drives, and outboard applications. Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment and materials are standard. Custom electronic suites and equipment can be installed to any specification. All TD vessels are available with fixed or remotely operated weapons systems (ROWS) accommodating both medium (MMG) or heavy machine guns (HMG). Every TD vessel is designed for tactile, man-machineinterface (MMI). Ergonomic engineering reduces combat fatigue and enhances operational safety through the use of joy stick controls, shock mitigating seats, night vision cameras and climate controlled cabins.

MISSION The 50MMP (Multi-Mission Platform) is a highly capable, open-ocean platform designed to provide offshore Force Protection during Over-the-Horizon transits, as well as pre-landing force deployment and support. High-speed maneuverability, shallow draft, and optional ballistic protection support a variety of coastal and offshore missions including Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS), Patrol and Surveillance, Search and Rescue (SAR), and Special Forces Operations. HULL DESIGN The 50MMP s modified-vee design provides predictable handling and control in rough seas. A moderate beamto-length ratio makes for superb seakeeping, enhanced crew comfort and safety offshore at high speed. Quick planing characteristics and modest bow rise provide excellent visibility from the helm. Forward lifting strakes and wide chine surfaces deflect spray for improved visibility from the helm, while reducing frictional drag and increasing stability at high speed. PROPULSION Complementing its shallow hull draft, the 50MMP s twin diesel-powered waterjets provide excellent shallow-water and evasive-maneuvering capabilities and enhanced swimmer safety. For optimum speed, Arneson surface drives are available to suit specific mission requirements. Compatible with both propulsion packages, optional joystick systems delivers precise control and enhanced safety when operating in close quarters. TOPSIDES The 50MMP s large enclosed pilothouse is situated amidships, providing enhanced crew protection and comfort offshore; climate control is available. Seating is provided for up to 30 crew and passengers, and the deck can also be configured to carry cargo. The deck arrangement permits rapid embark, debark and alongside boarding. A unique bow landing ramp adds great flexibility for rapid bow-in troop disembarkation/recovery, while a two-meter-wide stern ramp allows for deployment/ retrieval of a 4.7 m inflatable boat. Fixed lifting points also allow for mother ship-based deployment.

Tampa Defense understands that the acceptance, commissioning and introduction of a new craft can be challenging for the end user. To help facilitate this process, Tampa Defense supports its customers with specialized boat crew training so they can operate the vessels safely and professionally. Training is custom designed and tailored to each craft. It focuses on basic craft familiarization, operational safety, operation of electrical/mechanical systems, and underway training including boat handling and craft casualty. The training staff conducts initial operator training in a classroom setting using operator and student training guides that are supplemented by corresponding PowerPoint lessons. The instruction is given in a simple step-by-step process that allows students to take notes, ask questions and become familiar with the craft. Classroom training is followed by extensive onboard training dockside. Here students are given instruction on operating the various systems aboard the craft, ultimately bringing the craft from a cold plant status to being ready to get underway. The final phase is underway training which includes docking drills, anchoring procedures, helmsman training and low- and high-speed maneuvering. Whether you have novice or expert maritime operators, Tampa Defense will deliver focused and proven professional training. Your crew will be well trained and highly confident in their ability to perform their duties and succeed in achieving critical mission requirements.

TD offers its customers tailored, in-country service and maintenance programs, including All Inclusive Annual Maintenance Contracts (AIAMC) in one- to ten-year increments. AIAMC programs ensure that the vessels are maintained in a seaworthy and fully mission ready posture. We also offer less comprehensive, service-only contracts on an annual or multi-year basis. During repair and maintenance periods, we make every effort to minimize down-time for the vessels. To carry out the repairs and maintenance work in-country, TD employs local maintenance managers, technicians and established OEM-authorized distributors and service agencies. TD typically enters into a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with OEM-authorized distributors in-country for the AIAMC program. Additional in-country support is provided through TD s MoUs with well-established, regional contractors and shipyards. Contract services include: Routine TD-recommended preventive-maintenance service of craft, equipment and installed accessories; Periodic maintenance of the vessel s systems, components and accessories as recommended by their suppliers and manufacturers; Maintenance and servicing of main propulsion systems and components as recommended by the supplier and manufacturer; Initial inventory supply and ongoing replacement of spare parts and consumables; Overhaul and major repair of main engines and auxiliary power systems on specific intervals as required by OEM; Bottom cleaning, preparation and painting at recommended intervals; Routine replacement of anodes and other corrosion treatment at regular intervals; Repair and maintenance of propulsion systems including water jets, surface drives, outboard and sterndrive lower units, and conventional shaft drives.

Founded in 2005, Tampa Yacht Manufacturing (TYM) was established to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the High-Speed, Anti-Terrorism, Interdiction Craft market. Managed by executives and personnel with over 20 years of boat manufacturing experience, TYM has developed Engineering, Quality Assurance and Production programs and capabilities that ensure a high-quality product. TYM operates in a modern 80,000 square-foot, climate-controlled, advanced-composites facility. We build to any and all IACS High Speed Planing Hull Rules and Regulations, and specifically to RINA High Speed Military Certification. ISO 9001 QA System forms the basis of our integrated Quality Management System standards. Our highly experienced staff of engineers and naval architects use the latest Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs. These include 3D and solid modeling, advanced planing hull surface development, hydrodynamic and hydrostatic modeling, CNC

computer lofting, and 3D systems integration. To produce moderate-weight and extremely robust military grade vessels, TYM uses the latest advancedcomposite manufacturing processes. These include lamination using vinylester, polyester and epoxy resins; E-glass, S-glass, carbon fiber and Kevlar aramid reinforcements; and vacuum bag resin infusion and pre-preg technologies. Tampa Yacht Manufacturing is well versed in foreign military sales as well as U.S. Government programs. Recently TYM entered into a contract with a foreign government to supply a large number of 44-foot FCI (Fast Coastal Interceptors). This contract and many others over the years have provided TYM with considerable expertise in integrating complex electronics, weapons and ballistic systems into our boat designs. In order to spotlight our military line of craft, Tampa Yacht Manufacturing created two new company identities: Tampa Defense USA (TD USA) and Tampa Defence UK (TD UK). Working with our partners worldwide, the TYM family has the sales, marketing and logistical support capabilities to respond to our customers needs. We invite you to visit us and experience how Tampa Yacht Manufacturing can help your organization forge ahead into the ever-changing Military, Coast Guard and Law Enforcement security markets. You can rely on TYM to provide you with fleets made up of the latest and most technically advanced and capable boats available.
