TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGES FOR OUT-OF-CYCLE ACTIVITIES: Following activities will be charged separately if they are not already included in a particular cycle or have to be repeated in a cycle on Customers request: ACTIVITY A. Lift on/lift off empty container from stack area to Rail Rs. 400 Rs. 730 wagon /Road trailer or vice-versa B. Lift on/lift off loaded container from road vehicle to stack area/rail loading or vice-versa Rs. 570 Rs TERMINAL SERVICE CHARGES: In order to provide efficient services at the ICD, it is necessary to ensure that Container being used for Export or Import do not stagnate at ICD. Adequate Free Time for obtaining Customs Clearance and completing commercial formalities has been provided for various categories of Container. Thereafter, the Shipper/Importer/ their Agent shall be liable to pay Terminal Service Charges over and above the Terminal Handling Charges. The rates for 20 Containers are given below. The rates for 40 containers will be double these rates. The day of unloading/arrival/stuffing of container is included while calculating Free Time. Category of Container A. 12 7. TARIFF FOR BONDED WAREHOUSING : W.E.F I. Storage charges for Bonding at ICD, Sananad: a. Storage Charges 1. Up to 2 weeks 2. From 2 to 12 weeks 3. More than 12 weeks Rs. 60/- per week/sq mt or part thereof Rs. 70/- per week/sq mt or part thereof Rs. 80/- per week/sq mt or part thereof b. Minimum bookings of space 5 sq mts (or multiple thereof) c. Minimum booking period 2 weeks These in multiple of 5 sqmt with 20 sqmt minimum area in case of 20ft container De Stuffing and 40 sqmt mnimum area in case of 40 containers De stuffing,excess to be charge as per multiple of 5 sqmts. II. Terminal Handling for bonded consignment: a. Shifting charges from Import Warehouse to bonded warehous Rs. 65/- Per MT or part thereof A separate note has been attached III. Insurance charges: a. Insurance charges 13 paise per Rs. 1000/- value or part thereof/per week or part thereof. Note; All above rates are excluding of taxes. TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGES FOR OUT-OF CYCLE ACTIVITIES The following activities will be charged separately if they are not already included in a particular cycle or have to be repeated in a cycle on CUSTOMER S REQUEST ACTIVITIES 1. WEIGHMENT CHARGES: a. Usage of THARS weighbridge for weighment of cargo or container vehicles on party s trailers. b. Weighment (Export) of containers on Thar Trailers, which this includes lift on / lift off and transportation. c. b. Weighment (Import) of containers on Thar Trailers, which this includes lift on / lift off and transportation. d. GST & Other Government Taxes will be charged extra as applicable CONSIGNOR SHIPPING LINES SHOULD UNDERTAKE TO INDEMNIFY THAR AGAINST ANY CLAIMS RECEIVED BY IT FROM THEM / SHIPPER /IMPORTER FOR DAMAGES TO THEIR CONTAINERS / CONSIGNMENT DURING THE COURSE OF CARRIAGE / HANDLING OF CONTAINERS WEIGHING OVER 24 TONNES GROSS. THEY SHOULD ALSO UNDERTAKE TO COMPENSATE ICD SANAND, ITS HANDLING CONTRACTOR FOR ANY DAMAGE, WHICH SUCH OVERLOADED CONTAINER MAY CAUSE TO ANY HANDLING EQUIPMENT / FLAT DEPLOYED FOR THEIR HANDLING / CARRIAGE. LINES/CHA SHOULD PUT ON `OVERLOAD STICKER ON ALL OVERLOADED CONTAINERS SO THAT THEY ARE EASILY IDENTIFIED AT THE TIME OF THEIR HANDLING. LINES/CHA SHOULD DECLARE THE WEIGHT CORRECTLY IN FORWARDING NOTE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING SUCH CONTAINERS. IN CASE ANY OVERWEIGHT IS DETECTED LATER, EITHER AT ORIGINATING TERMINAL ITSELF OR AT DESTINATION TERMINAL, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED TO BE A CASE OF MIS-DECLARATION AND PENAL CHARGES LEVIED AT THE RATE OF Rs.1000/- PER TONE OR PART THEREOF FOR EXCESS BEYOND THE DECLARED WEIGHT IN ADDITION TO RECOVERY OF DUE DIFFERNTIAL CHARGE (FREIGHT DUE MINUS PAID AT TIME OF BOOKING AS PER DECLARATION). THIS WILL ALSO BE APPLICABLE FOR IMPORT CARGO. TRUCK BRINGING EXPORT CARGO WILL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER ICD TILL HRS. WORKING HOURS ARE TO HRS FOR COMMERCIAL COUNTERS AND WAREHOUSES ALL CARGO WILL BE STUFFED IN ACCORDANCE AND GUIDANCE OF SHIPPING LINE/SHIPPER S REPRESENTATIVE. IN THE ABSENCE OF SHIPPERS REPRESENTATIVE, THE CONTAINER WOULD BE STUFFED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THAR AND EVERY EFFORT WOULD BE MADE TO GIVE BEST POSSIBLE STORAGE. THAR WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LEFT OVER OF CARGO. RE-WORKING, IF DESIRED BY CHA, WILL BE ALLOWED ON PAYMENT OF USUAL RE-WORKING CHARGES. NO EMPTY CONTAINER TRUCKS/TRAILOR WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE PARKED INSIDE ICD AREA. 16 IN CASE OF ODC CONTAINERS CARRIED BY ROAD, FULL DETAILS OF CARGO DIMENSIONS NEEDS TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CUSTOMERSS AND CHARGES WILL BE PROVIDED ON CASE TO CASE BASIS. A SEPARATE NOTE HAS BEEN ATTACHED. ALL LADEN FLAT RAKCS, WILL BE TREATED AS ODCs, NO ODC CHARGES ARE LEIVABLE ON 40 DRY CARGO ISO CONTAINER OF THE HEIGHT UPTO 9 6. FOR 20 AND 40 CONTAINER SIZE AND TYPE OF FLAT RAKE CONTAINER (FR), TANK CONTAINER (TC), REFER CONTAINER ( RF), 20 % ADDITIONAL CHARGE WILL BE LEVIED IN Rail & Road TRANSPORTATION ON BASE RATE ( GL,HQ& OT CONTAINERS RATE ) AND ALSO APPLICABLE FOR HANDLING FOR HANDLING CHARGE. A 20% SURCHARGE ON THE NORMAL FREIGHT RATE AND CONTAINER HANDLING CHARGES WILL BE LEVIABLE ON EVERY CONTAINER ACCEPTED FOR CARRIAGE OF HAZARDOUS /DANGEROUS CARGO. AS DEFINED IN THE IMDG / RED TARIFF,SUCH CONTAINERS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A PINK FORWARDING NOTE ONLY.PRIOR PERMISSION MUST BE TAKEN BEFORE BRINGING HAZARDOUS CARGO INSIDE ICD. LEFT OUT PACKING MATERIAL OF IMPORT / EXPORT CARGO CONSIGNMENT SHOULD BE TAKEN AWAY WITHIN 3 DAYS BY CHA / CONSIGNEE / SHIPPER / TRANSPORTER. AFTER 3 DAYS, LEFT OUT PACKING MATERIAL WILL BE DISPOSED OFF WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION. IF ANY LEFTOUT PACKING MATERIAL IS REQUIRED TO BE STORE, IT HAS TO BE INFORMED WELL IN ADVACE TO MAKE AN ARRANGEMENT FOR STORAGE IN ICD. STORAGE CHARGES WILL BE APPLICABLE AS PER SQFT/ ALL BOOKING WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THAR ON PAID BASIS ALL EXPORTERS/CHAs ARE REQUESTEDTO FILL IN AND PRESENT ONE FORWARDING NOTE OF EACH SHIPMENT ALONG WITH ONE COPY OF SHIPPING BILL DULY ENDORSED BY CUSTOMS FOR IW BILL. IMPORT LOADED CONTAINERS SHALL BE MOVED FOR EXAMINATION ONLY AFTER ALL CUSTOMS AND OTHER FORMALITIES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND CUSTOM EXAMINATION ARRANGEDBY SHIPPER/AGENT. THAR WOULD RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHICH IMPORT CONTAINER AND WHAT KIND OF IMPORT COMMODITIES ARE TO BE DESTUFFED IN THE ICD WAREHOUSE OR IN THE NOMINATED OPEN SPACE. FOR REST, THE CARGO WILL BE LEFT IN THE CONTAINER ITSELF TILL FINAL DELIVERY IS TAKEN BY THE SHIPPER OR CUSTOM/THAR DISPOSES OFF THE GOODS FOLLOWING PROCEDURES LAID DOWN BY CUSTOM AND AS SPECIFIED IN INDIAN CUSTOMS ACT. ALL EXPORTERS / IMPORTERS /CHA / SHIPPING LINES /FORWARDERS / CONSOLIDATORS BRINGING IN THEIR CARGO OR CONTAINERS IN ICD SANAND ARE ADVISED TO TAKE SUITABLE INSURANCE COVER FOR THEM. THE ARRIVAL, PLACEMENT AND EXAMINATION OF TRAINS ARE UNSCHEDULED AND SUBJECT TO VARIOUS CONDITIONS CONTROLLED BY EXTERNAL FORCES. THE IDEAL TRANSIT TIMES ARE ESTIMATES AND THAR DOES NOT GUARANTEE ON TRANSIT TIME EITHER FOR RAIL OR ROAD TRANSPORTATION SERVING LOCALLY AND SERVICING GLOBALLY 16
