WHO WE ARE HY PRECISION MOULDS ( a division of HY MOULD & DIE LIMITED) is a continually growing organization in the manufacturing of high-tolerance and high-quality CNC Machined parts along with design/development, manufacturing and refurbishment of Plastic injection moulds and its components. We offer superior customer service and satisfaction with timely delivery of engineered solutions using advanced technologies, proudly developed in an atmosphere of encouragement and respect for our customers, suppliers, employees and the environment. We are a team of professional engineers assisting North American enterprises to take advantage of best cost manufacturing opportunities available in Canada and South China. We create highly specialized fixtures, prototypes and components. Our specialized equipment and in-house technical expertise allows us to machine and build products from a wide range of materials, including stainless steels, aluminums and exotic engineered plastics. Our unique blend of machine shop equipment allows us to do a wide variety of work in house and totally under our control. We work to a shop standard of +/- 50 microns (0.002 ) linear dimensions and holding flatness to 75-micron (0.003 ) flatness; starting at these shop tolerances we can get to much tighter tolerances if required. We work together with our customers to build up a knowledge base about customers' processes, equipment and needs and then arrive at innovative solutions on parts thought impossible. We do the specialized work other shops can't or don't want to do and we do it quickly.

3 DESIGN ENGINEERING Utilizing advanced CAD/CAM/CAE technologies, our professional engineers will transform your product ideas into reality. The software we employ includes Solidworks Professional 2018, AutoCAD 2018 & Autodesk Mold Flow Insight. Product review and feasibility study Prior to mould design, our engineering team will review customer product design and issue feasibility study report, offering proposals, if any, for improvement of manufacturability, cycle time or part quality. Our engineers can offer all assistance and necessary information required to create your product and follow its development through onto the production line. 3D Printing and Development With the use of 3D Objet Polyjet Printer we can assist the engineer in the product development stage at modest costs. Our Dimension 3D Printer is an ideal solution to quality parts at a cost between higher end Polyjet and the Makerbot Z18 FDM printer which is ideal for student projects or the home hobbyist interested in seeing an idea inexpensively transformed to a solid model. Mould Design 2D and 3D Mould design utilizing the latest CAD/CAM/CAE technologies. Each Mould is designed to have the best molding performance and efficient manufacturing and life time. Mould design is sent to customer for approval before tool fabrication. Mould Flow Analysis For all plastic parts, molds are optimized through mold flow analysis software for injection system, warpage, deflection, optimal molding conditions and other parameters. We model the proposed design to see how it will react in the injection and cooling phases of the cycle.
