2 QuickShip Ordering/General Information The goal of the QuickShip Program is to schedule and ship all orders from Penco Distribution Centers in 5 working days or less. For requirements less than five days, please contact customer service. Locker Assembly: QuickShip Locker Assembly by Penco is $15 Net per frame for 1, 2, & 3 Tier, $18 Net per frame for 5 & 6 Tier, $18 Net for Wall Mount and $54 Net for 16 Person lockers. PROGRAM GUIDELINES The standard lead time for assembled lockers is 5 working days for orders up to 50 frames. For the lead time on more than 50 assembled frames, please contact customer service. Maximum QuickShip order size is 100 frames of lockers, with or without legs. Orders in excess of this quantity will be processed as production orders. The lead time for knocked-down lockers without legs is 5 working days up to 50 frames. Please contact customer service for lead time for more than 50 frames. Maximum QuickShip order size is $10,000 net for clipper shelving, and $5,000 net for rivet shelving. Please check with customer service for availability and lead time on orders greater than these limits. QuickShip Products: All shipments will be made prepay and add unless otherwise specified. When freight is prepaid, charges will be added to the invoice. If you put a non-quickship part number on an order, the entire order will be given a standard ship date based on the lead times shown on our website (not 5 working days). If you put a QuickShip part number on a NON-QuickShip order, it will do nothing to improve the lead time, and the order will be given a standard date. Mark Your Orders: All QuickShip Orders must be clearly marked. If your order is not recognized as QuickShip upon receipt at Penco, it will be delayed. Changes and Cancellations: Changes and cancellations are not available after placement of a QuickShip order. Shipping: All shipments will be made pre-pay and add unless otherwise specified. When freight is prepaid, charges will be added to the invoice. Each order must be for one destination to one consignee. Pick-ups are available by privately owned vehicles, with prior authorization. Orders cannot be held for accumulation to ship with other orders, nor can they be put on hold status for shipment at a later date. Claims and Freight Damage: For Prepay and add shipments only, claims for damaged or lost material must be reported to Penco Corporate headquarters within 72 hours from receipt of shipment. CAUTION: When you give the delivering carrier a clear receipt for a shipment in which there is damaged merchandise or a shortage, the carrier is relieved of further responsibility. Penco will not accept claims unless the delivery receipt is noted as damaged. All Third-Party claims must be filed with the delivering carrier. Material Availability: If we are UNABLE to ship KD material in 5 working days due to availability of stock, Penco Customer Service will call you to advise the schedule date, and give you the opportunity to cancel without penalty. Return Shipments: No return shipments will be accepted without previous written factory authorization. Material returned without authorization will be refused. A restocking charge of 25% or more with a minimum of $50.00 net will be levied on all authorized returned material, subject to inspection for damage at the factory. No credit will be issued for damaged material. All return freight charges must be prepaid. Guarantee: We guarantee our products for a one year limited warranty to be free from mechanical and manufacturing defects. Penco is not responsible for products damaged by misuse, abuse or any acts of vandalism. The guarantee is also voided if the standard finish is exposed to items such as high humidity, chlorine salts, abrasive cleaners, germicidal cleaners or acids. Locker Information: Lockers will be provided with number plates in the hardware from 1-up when a numbering preference is not specified on the order. Numbers from 1 to 300 are available from QuickShip stock. QuickShip lockers are furnished with flat tops and 6" legs as standard. Legs will be removed by Penco at no additional charge if "NO LEGS" is requested on the order. KD Locker orders for 3 frames or less will be individually packed; orders for 4 or more frames will be bulk packed (like parts packed together). Anchoring: For safety purposes, all lockers whould be floor and wall anchored. Even when properly anchored, lockers are NOT designed to withstand stepping on bottoms or swinging on doors. PENCO ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR PRODUCT FAILURE OR PERSONAL INJURY IF PRODUCTS ARE MODIFIED OR USED FOR OTHER THAN THEIR DESIGNED PURPOSE. Locker Accessories: These will be shipped in separate cartons with the following exceptions: Slope Top Kits and Front Bases will be attached to lockers by Penco at no additional charge when ordered with assembled lockers. Installation can be done without special tools in a minimum amount of time. All steel parts in the QuickShip program are finished in attractive 723 Light Putty baked enamel. Starter and add-on units are combined to form economical rows of shelving. Each add-on unit includes a pair of tee posts which are used in common between units. This reduces assembly time and the number of parts required. Begin each row with two angle posts from the starter unit and join the desired number of add-on units to complete the row. Finish the last unit with a pair of angle posts from the starter unit. Example: One starter and two add-ons. ALL units must have a full perimeter of double rivet beams at the top and bottom to insure a stable and rigid unit. Shelf deck material is not available in the QuickShip program. It must be obtained outside the QuickShip program or purchased locally (particleboard supplied by Penco on a production basis is classified as '1-M-1 Interior Grade'). If you are cutting your own board, use the nominal shelf deck size and cut +0" -1 /8". Example: For a row of ten lockers, Order nine 3-wide lockers and one 1-wide locker. LOCKER HEIGHT Height refers to the nominal height of the tier. Example: 5 tier locker with a (tier) height of 12 with 6 legs 5 tiers x 12 tier height = 60" + 6 legs = 66 total height with legs. (QuickShip Lockers have 6 legs as standard, but they can be supplied without legs if specified on the order.)
