2 The Alliance Vision/Purpose The Alliance is the acknowledged leader in advancing a visionary, regional, multi-modal transportation network to create a better quality of life and greater economic prosperity for all. The Alliance s sole mission is to advance transportation improvements of greatest regional significance in Northern Virginia.
