Autoquip Freightlift vertical reciprocating conveyors (VRC) provide affordable access to multi-floor facilities. These flexible products are available in your choice of straddle, cantilever, and 4-post designs and feature a variety of loading patterns to accommodate any material handling application. They are ideal for access to everything from mezzanines to multi-level manufacturing or distribution facilities. Freightlift VRC s are much more affordable than freight elevators. Their open design allows them to be easily fitted into virtually any facility. A variety of loading patterns and platform sizes provides seamless integration into manufacturing and distribution systems. Autoquip VRC s are designed so they can be installed as freestanding units or designed into the facility structure. In mezzanine applications, Freightlift VRC s are the ideal solution to transporting materials and products to the elevated mezzanine level for assembly or inventory control systems. These VRC s can even be integrated into conveyor based systems for a fluid work flow to elevated production levels. With platform sizes of up to 12 X 15, and capacities ranging to 15,000 lb. these affordable VRC s can transform an elevated storage mezzanine into an active production area. For multi-level facilities Freightlift VRC s are the most cost effective method of transferring materials or products. Offering vertical travel as high as 100 feet, Freightlift VRC s could turn a ten story building into a production facility. 4 GATES & ENCLOSURES GATES & ENCLOSURES Autoquip gates and enclosures provide maximum safety and protection for high travel lift applications. Gates and enclosures may be required to meet Federal, State or local codes. Built to last with sturdy, heavy duty vertical posts and expanded metal panels, Autoquip safety enclosures and gates are designed for dependable operation with a minimum of maintenance. All gates can be equipped with electro-mechanical interlocks and are available in standard and custom sizes to match any application. Standard gates offer 7 load clearance. Enclosures Autoquip enclosure panels are fabricated with expanded metal for visibility and supplied with mounting hardware for easy installation and coated in a color to match the lift. Standard panels are 6 to 4 width and 96 high. Nonstandard sizes and custom finishes are also available. Autoquip enclosures are constructed for durability with materials that provide years of reliable personnel protection. Sliding Gates Autoquip sliding gates save space and come complete with sturdy support posts and overhead track for trouble free installation and operation. Gates are available in a variety of sizes with standard widths up to 10, with angular construction, or can be custom built to your specifications. Swing Gates Autoquip swing gates are available in standard single panels widths of up to 6 with tubular construction, or bi-parting designs for up to 12 standard widths. Custom sizes are available for either single or bi-parting systems. All swing gates are complete with all mounting hardware and interlocks. Vertical Gates Autoquip vertical gates are easy to use and provide safe loading and unloading. All vertical acting gates are counterbalanced to remain level when raised from either side. Autoquip provides trouble free performance with the use of non-binding UHMW sliding guides. For those applications with limited overhead clearance, bi-parting models are available with telescoping panels to provide the most compact gate system. INTERLOCKS Autoquip offers a variety of interlocks to ensure safe operation for every application. 5 LOADING PATTERNS TYPICAL LOAD PATTERNS To determine the proper lift configuration (i.e.: straddle, cantilever, four-post) and the types of gates and enclosures required for an application, consider all loading and unloading requirements. Typical load patterns are illustrated below. Z LOADING PATTERN The traffic flow for a Z is to load the lift from one side, and exit the lift off the opposite side as it was loaded. C LOADING PATTERN In a C pattern, traffic enters the lift on one side, and exits the lift from the same side as the lift was loaded. 90 LOADING PATTERN The 90 traffic pattern requires a cantilever carriage to enter the lift from one side and exit the lift at a 90 angle from the loading position. 18 GLOSSARY OF OPTIONS & ACCESSORIES Added Rollover Capacity - lift structure is beefed up for use in pit mounted installations where truck traffic or load transfer is experienced in the lowered position. Not available on FLM/C. Anti-skid Surface - diamond tread or abrasive material applied to lift platform. Power Units, Oversize - higher horsepower motors and larger pumps and components for increasing speed. Power Unit, Remote - Remote motor. Power connection via hydraulic hoses. Not available on FLM/C, FL4M. Approach Ramp - hinged or fixed plate with structural support from the floor level to the top of lift platform. Power, Air - for uses where electrical is unavailable or undesirable and shop air is available. Explosion proof. Automatic Indexing - optical or mechanical sensing to position platform at preset height. Not available on FLT, FLH/C. Power, Continuous Duty - power units equipped with motors capable of a high number of motor starts per hour. Coatings, Colors and Epoxy - customer can select colors and formulations of paint. Lifting Eye Bolts - steel eyebolts can be provided so lift can be lifted and/or moved with a hoist for installation. Limit Switch - stops travel and prevents over travel. Provides height positioning and can activate associated equipment. NEMA Rated Electrical - packages comply with NEMA standards for outdoor, explosion-proof, and other installations (NEMA 1,2,4,12,7,9). Operational Signals - visual or audible alarms warn personnel when lift in use. Throw-over Bridge - hinged plate used to bridge gap between platform surface and adjacent fixed height surface.
