1 TEZPUR UNIVERSITY ADMISSION NOTICE Dated 5 th November, 2018 PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN STOCK MARKETS Applications in prescribed forms are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the short-term part-time programme on NSE Certified CAPITAL MARKET PROFESSIONAL (NCCMP) for the Spring Semester The programme will be offered jointly by the Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University and National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy Ltd. The filled in application form along with a demand draft of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University and payable to State Bank of India, Tezpur University Branch (SBIN ), Napam must reach to Dr. Arup Roy, Course Coordinator & Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University, Napam , Ph / (03712) / ( arup@tezu.ernet.in) by Eligibility criteria: Graduate in any discipline with atleast 45% of marks or equivalent grade (5% relaxation for SC, ST & OBC-NCL category). 2 TEZPUR UNIVERSITY NSE Certified CAPITAL MARKET PROFESSIONAL (NCCMP) programme INFORMATION SHEET Duration: One Semester (Contact hours :169, January June) Class schedule: Evening classes, 3 days in a week with 2 hours class per day. Programme fees: Rs. 16,900/- (Rupees sixteen thousand nine hundred only) in the form of Demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University and payable at State Bank of India, Tezpur University Branch (SBIN ), Napam at the time of admission on if selected. Tentative date of display of the provisionally selected list of candidates on the University website: Tests: Class tests, Midterm test, Virtual Portfolio Management, End term examination and Project work. Class tests, Midterm test, Virtual Portfolio and project work will be conducted by the University and NSE will conduct end term online exams. Certification: Jointly by Tezpur University and NSE on successful completion of exams with 50% aggregate marks. Syllabus: Introduction to Financial Markets Derivatives Fundamental Analysis Technical Analysis Macro Economics for Capital Markets Virtual Portfolio Management Internship Project Discussions on Financial Newspapers and Journals Practical Training. Program Objectives: To create skilled manpower in the financial securities market. To impart operational knowledge and upgrade proficiency in the financial market. To provide with practical exposure to the participants.

3 Program Outcome: Ability to synthesise both theoretical knowledge & practical exposure to securities markets. Ability to discharge operational role in financial securities market. Preparedness to accept job roles in broking/financial institutions/banks as a dealer or as an investment advisor, career as a freelance financial analyst, agent, portfolio manager or as a sub-broker in capital market segment. Ability to start up a business of securities trading. Expected Outcome of the Programme: The aim of the NCCMP Programme is to develop skills and competency in securities markets. NCCMP programme is one of the flagship programs of NSE which has been successfully running across Pan India. Till now more than 5000 students have completed this training program successfully in India and this knowledge is highly recognized in the industry. The course helps the students to get both theoretical knowledge & practical exposure to securities markets. It is a tremendous value addition to regular graduation/postgraduation course. The programme imparts a high preparedness level for employment & boost confidence, skill set & resume.
