1 Sig Sauer 2016 Domestic Routing Guide

2 This document supersedes all previous shipping instructions and applies to all shipments originating and terminating in the U.S. and for which Sig Sauer is responsible for the freight charges. Failure to follow these instructions may result in reversal of freight charges to the shipper or a reduction in the vendor invoice for excess freight cost. Definitions: Inbound Shipments to a Sig Sauer facility. Outbound Shipments from a Sig Sauer facility. Third Party- Shipments from a supplier or other non Sig Sauer party to another supplier or non Sig Sauer party on Sig Sauer s behalf (a.k.a. drop ship). LTL Less than truckload. Palletized Freight and/or > 300 lbs. in aggregate TL Truck load or Volume LTL. Palletized freight > 10 pallets or 5000 lbs. Small Package Non-Palletized shipments of less than 300 lbs. in aggregate. Individual packages should not exceed 50 lbs. Inbound and Third Party - All inbound and third party shipments shall be via ground transportation unless air shipment is authorized by the Sig Sauer buyer or Corporate Logistics. Please consider transit time when planning for on time delivery (plan for ground). SIG SAUER shipping terms are FOB Shipping Point Freight Collect. Do Not Declare a Value. Do Not Prepay and Add. A packing list referencing the Sig Sauer P.O. or requestor must be attached to the first package of each shipment. Air Early AM services are not discounted and require authorization by Sig Sauer management. Do not use air 2 nd Day AM services.

3 - Inbound small package shipments shall be marked as Bill Recipient referencing the Sig Sauer account. Reference the Sig Sauer P.O. in the reference field. Third Party shall be marked as Bill Third Party referencing the Sig Sauer account. Small packages shall be packed to provide adequate protection for the goods in transit while minimizing excessive dimensional weight charges. Inbound and 3rd Party Small Package Accounts To/For Newington NH Exeter NH Epping NH Dover NH Eubank KY Stanford KY Tualatin OR FedEx * UPS 3749X4 8W383V 6R8V X4 3749X4 3749X4 3749X4 * Preferred Carrier - UPS is an acceptable alternate for ground shipments when needed. - Inbound LTL shipments shall have the bill of lading marked as Freight Collect (No account number is required). Reference the Sig Sauer P.O. (s) on the bill of lading. All shipments to one location on one day shall be consolidated on a single bill of lading and, when known, the NMFC # and freight class shall be noted. For Third Party shipments the bill of lading shall be marked as follows: Bill To Sig Sauer Inc. c/o Beech Hill Enterprises P.O. Box 289 Augusta, ME Preferred routing is FedEx Freight Economy service (or Ross Express for shipments within the New England states). FedEx Freight Priority service may be used for one day faster service. UPS Freight is an acceptable alternate. Same day couriers should only be used with management approval.

4 - Large shipments of > 10 pallets or 5000 lbs. may be LTL or TL and should be arranged through Sig Sauer Corporate Logistics (contact info follows). Labeling/ Marking - Unit and Intermediate (if applicable) package labeling should include in human readable characters at a minimum the following information: Sig Sauer part number Quantity and unit of measure Sig Sauer purchase order number - Master Packs and Pallets shall include the following: Vendor ship from name and address Sig Sauer ship to name and address Sig Sauer purchase order number Carton/Pallet number and total count (example 1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc.)

5 Outbound All outbound sales order shipments shall be routed as per the instructions noted on the delivery. If no instructions are noted the routing shall be best way in accordance with all commodity related regulations. Dangerous goods shipments (Ammo, CO2) are via ground services only and require special labeling (see sample Limited Quantity diamond or specific consumer commodity labels below, questions contact Sig Sauer Corporate Logistics). Dangerous goods shipments including Limited Quantity or ORM-D are not eligible for ground shipment to Alaska or Hawaii. Optics packed with Lithium Metal batteries may be shipped ground or air with specific labeling and/or statements attached. Do not use small package ground services to Alaska or Hawaii. Unless otherwise noted, all shipments shall be prepaid. All off-line (manual) shipping requests should be accompanied by a packing list (see attached editable example) for recordkeeping purposes.
