1 Organometallic Wear Metals Organometallic Standards for AA, ICP, DCP & XRF Analysis These Standards were formulated for the analysis of metals in oils and other organic matrices. These Standards and curves provide a convenient way to analyze for metals (wear metals, additives and contaminants) in lubricating oils, gasolines, residual oils, crude oils, turbine fuels and environmental samples. All standards undergo rigorous quality assurance checks. Major constituents in the final Standard are typically analyzed by both plasma emission and rotrode techniques. Organometallic Standards listed on this page may contain sulfur which can be introduced by possible sulfonate starting materials used to formulate the actual organometallic standard. AccuStandard has developed a New Premium Organometallic line for those clients preferring to have organometallic standards with <1 ppm sulfur or phosphorous (see Table of Contents). These organometallic solutions can also be used to prepare single element or multi-element standards for plasma emission (ICP or DCP), rotating disk (rotrode), or atomic absorption spectroscopy (AA). The starting materials for the standards are PURE REAGENTS and have been certified against NIST SRM s whenever available. THEY DO NOT CONTAIN PHOSPHORUS OR SULFUR. TRACE IMPURITIES ARE DOCUMENTED ON THE CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS.
