2 PC 4000 The innovation in continuous motion cartoning Tube feeding unit The Promatic PC 4000 series is a flexible high speed cartoner range designed to satisfy the most demanding applications. It offers a wide range of tailor-made feeding options for different products. The PC 4000 range of cartoners consistently delivers flexibility, ergonomics and efficiency at speeds up to 400 cartons/min. Its state-of-the-art automatic cartoning is achieved by complete machine management via the operator panel. All movements are harmonized and efficiently handled by servo motors and electronic cams, optimized for each type of product to be packed. 3 Transfer by timing belts and pulleys eliminates the use of chains and mechanical gears resulting optimum operating efficiency and drastic reduction of maintenance, wear and tear and cleaning. The noise level of this cartoner is outstandingly low. Individual safety clutches on all main movements avoid mechanical overloads and any possible damage to product or machine. The Venturi vacuum generator eliminates additional noise at carton pick-up, opening and leaflet feeding. This makes the PC 4000 the benchmark in continuous motion cartoning.
