Flameproof equipment is capable of containing an explosion within the heater head. Flameproof heater heads are supplied with a precision flame path opening. This flame path prevents the flame of an explosion from escaping and igniting the flammable atmosphere. IN ADDITION, WE CAN LIAISE WITH THIRD PARTY INSPECTORATES SUCH AS ROYAL SUN ALLIANCE, LLOYDS, TUV, ABS, DNV, AJAX, PLANT SAFETY. Contract specific requirements can include: Non-destructive testing: dye penetrant, X-ray, Ultra sonic testing; Analysis of results confirmed by independent third parties; Full welding compliance to ASME IX EN 287/EN 288 for SAW, TIG and MIG; Manufacturers accreditation to BS EN ISO Welding Procedure Approval The preparation of welding procedures is conducted by our QA/QC department. This work is conducted in accordance with BS EN 288 or ASME VX although approvals can be obtained to meet other international requirements. Independent third party inspectorates endorse all our weld procedures. Our standards also comply with the EC Pressure Equipment Directive. Welder Approval Welder approval is conducted in accordance with BS EN 287 or ASME VX. Welder test results are endorsed by a suitably accredited independent material laboratory. Customer Helpline Our professional helpline team provide a swift response to technical enquiries and/or queries. All calls are tracked to completion to ensure customer satisfaction. This team also controls the site service engineers. Material Traceability Full material traceability including original material mill certificates can be supplied. Material certification requirements must be specified at the order stage. We source only the highest quality components. All our suppliers are audited regularly to check that our exacting standards are being met. Research and Development Research and Development form an integral part of Rycroft Process Solutions. 9 Design to the Highest Standards Rycroft Process Solutions has the experience, expertise and acumen to design, manufacture and test to the highest international standards and codes. Pressure Vessel Designs Rycroft Process Solutions design vessels to BS 5500, ASME VIII and AD Merkblatt. Shell and tube heat exchangers meet the design requirements of TEMA. Rycroft Process Solutions is an approved supplier of equipment constructed to various overseas codes of practice. These include China Safety Licence, UDT Approval for Poland and Arbejdstilsynet for Denmark to name but a few. We have supplied equipment with design pressures varying from full vacuum to 70 bar, temperatures from 100 C to 450 C. However, our capability is not restricted to these figures and you are invited to contact our design department for further information. Current legislation regarding the EC Pressure Equipment Directive has been addressed. Thermal Design Rycroft Thermal Design Engineers, have created its own software to determine heat transfer surface areas. Verification can be offered to proprietary software. Thermal calculations for single and two phase mediums, evaporating, condensing and natural or forced convection heat exchangers are all undertaken by our design office. Electrical Designs Rycroft Process Solutions design and manufacture a wide range of control panels which meet all IEE recommendations. All electrical systems conform to the applicable EMC Directive and carry the CE mark. Standard control panel enclosures are IP 66 rated, hazardous area rated equipment is also available. Skid and Frame Designs Our Design Office calculate the requirements for steel skids, pressure vessel supports and pipework support systems. Lifting lugs can be proof load tested if required. World class manufacturing techniques are utilised throughout the manufacturing process. All Rycroft employees are trained in short cycle management techniques resulting in a quality product manufactured to schedule. All manufacturing procedures are approved and form part of the BS EN ISO 9001 accreditation.
