2 T & R.H. test chambers Since 1968 ACS has developed and standardized complete ranges of environmental chambers, continuously improving and keeping up-to date with the latest technologies to fit the reliability requirements of the customers. The newest and most innovative environmental test chamber series is called Discovery My. New design, electromagnetic door closers, high reliable humidification system, optimized refrigeration system and the new MyKratos S/W allowing also Wi-fi connection are among the innovative features of Discovery My line. Energy Saving (E), Environmental Screening (ES) and ESS speedy versions are also available. Control System: a New Philosophy MyKratos and MyAngel24 Easy remote access (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, mobile connections) At a glance on board panel MyKratos Cutting-edge control software, allowing to manage, monitor, assist the chamber in any place at any time in multiple ways (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, mobile connections) through mobile and desktop devices. The chamber wireless (Wi-Fi) connection allows operation through tablets and smartphones. The operator interface can be remotely accessed also through the chamber connection to the client s LAN or via mobile network (on activation of a SIM card data). MyAngel24 The chambers can be connected to the remote server 24 hours a day, monitoring running conditions and any anomalies, in order to guarantee faster and more efficient service and maintenance activities. 9 T & RH Test Chambers - Compact Series ACS Compact Test Chambers provide high performances in limited space. Small footprint, easy installation, low power consumption, low noise level and full basic features including the inspection window, make these chambers the ideal choice. A compact unit easy to be installed in any R&D Department capable of testing small components and products ACS Compact Test Chambers -16, 60, 110 and 200 l available sizes - are equipped with the powerful KeyKratos Plus touchscreen control system, based on PID control through PLC, having the following advanced features: Memory capacity to 1000 cycles with 350 segments (on Compact flash). Unlimited real time recording of temperature and humidity (only for models 110l and 200l) versus time (log on Secure Digital). Data saved in CSV format (Comma Separated Value) for easy export to Excel from Secure Digital to Pendrive via USB interface located on front panel (program files are easily convertible into graphic format). Messages on scheduled maintenance activities. A trend chart for recorded variables available with a scale from -100/+200. Synoptic graphs for the chamber, low and high stage refrigeration.

10 Thermal shock chambers AIR TO AIR two temperature zones These chambers are used in Q.A. laboratories and Production Units for I.C. s infant mortality screening. In vertical configuration the useful capacity is of 130 and 320 litres; for larger capacity, horizontal types, are available in capacities of 500 and 1000 liters. Compliance with standards: IEC (test Na), MIL-STD 202 D/E/F, MIL-STD 883 A/C/D. AIR TO AIR three temperature zones (on request) Mainly used for Random Quality Control in accordance to MIL-STD, BS, IEC, DIN and DEF specs. requiring an ambient temperature in the hot/cold and cold/hot transfers. LIQUID TO LIQUID having 2 and 8 and litres baskets: compliance with MIL-STD 202 D/E/F, MIL-STD 883 A/C/D and IEC (test Nc). 11 Corrosion test chambers DCTC The Dry Corrosion Test Cabinet (DCTC ) is designed to highlight the corrosion processes on painted metallic surfaces in a fast and easily reproducible manner. The main technical features of the systems are: - Short time required for test execution; - Simulated corrosion exactly corresponding to the real corrosion observed in the field ; - Repeatibility of tests conditions; Tests in DCTC equipment are carried out according to Italian UNI 9399 (filiform corrosion) and UNI 9590 (scab corrosion). The DCTC systems can also perform the standard salt spray tests, (according to BS and ASTM), continuous salt spray tests, alternate salt spray tests (DIN) and have also been customised to suit the specific needs of companies such as FIAT, FORD, NISSAN etc. In addition, DCTC systems can be used to perform wetting (DIN 50017), and VDA tests. The footprint of 600 and 1200 l models (fiberglass external execution) has been reduced to minimum thanks to a basic configuration that does not include the salt solution tank, however available as option (200 l) l (stainless steel external execution) basic configuration includes a 120 l integrated salt solution tank (additional 200 l tank available as option).

12 Modular walk-in chambers These chambers allow several choices in terms of dimensions, performances and temperature ranges up to +80 C and down to -70 C. In order to increase the flexibility to the market requests ACS made more independent than ever before the 4 basic elements of the walk-in chamber: 1. Test room 2. Air Treatment Unit 3. 13 Vibration test chambers Aimed at the aerospace, military, automotive, and telecomm markets. ACS can provide chambers according to the customer specifications, suitable for any test volume, complying with MIL-STD 781 B/C/D/E and MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F standards. They are able to reach cooling rates up to 20ºC/min (with mechanical cooling) or up to 60ºC/min (with LN2 cooling). ACS can also supply turn-key systems (chamber, vibrator and possible thermal system for specimen, etc..). MyKratos Free App to remotely manage the chamber is available in Google Play and Apple Store Standard vibration test chambers can be interfaced with many various types of shakers for vertical vibrations thanks to a worm screw type of lifting system allowing the test cabinet to be adapted to the shaker height. It is also possible to add horizontal movement or tri-axial vibration on request.

14 HALT and HASS chambers Accelerated testing is used to detect and correct any inherent design and manufacturing flaws and to determine product reliability. Typically a series of individual and combined stresses such as multi-axis vibration, temperature cycling and product power cycling are applied in steps of increasing intensity. Test time is compressed with the accelerated stresses, leading to earlier product maturity. The HALT method (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) is mainly utilised to carry out timely corrective actions during the design phase of the product while the HASS method (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) is performed to detect defects during the production phase of the product. 15 Solar/Photovoltaic Module Testing Chambers Standard Test Methods are established by the following norms: for Photovoltaic Modules IEC Terrestrial crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules IEC Terrestrial thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules IEC Concentrator photovoltaic (PV) modules and assemblies For thermal modules EN EN In order to improve the efficiency of testing laboratories ACS designed a standard line of basic climatic chambers specifically fit to carry out the simple but long-term Damp Heat Tests required by the Standard Test Methods (85ºC; 85% RH for 1000 h), whilst leaving to the more performing chambers the task of executing the more complex tests. 16 Calorimeters CALORIMETERS For domestic air conditioners, specific standards of reference are in use in all industrialized countries, establishing how they are to be tested and permitting a clear-cut classification on the basis of both their functioning parameters and their energy efficiency. As a result, ATT has decided to develop a line of standard calorimeters capable of covering practically all test and qualification needs for domestic air conditioning systems, both split and monoblock, either functioning exclusively as air conditioners or also as heat pumps. Customized calorimeter Two models are available, making it possible to work on conditioners of a maximum capacity of 12 kw and 20 kw, respectively. Tests can be conducted in accordance with EC standard ISO , keeping in mind that it is very similar to the equivalent standards used in other industrial areas. The calorimeters come complete with our WinKratos software package, the product of years of experience in the field, which simplifies the running of the tests and provides an immediate reading of the significant parameters.

17 Altitude test chambers Aerospace technology requires an absolute reliability of devices, components and equipment on board which often have human lives depending on them. ACS has been involved in vacuum testing since 1953 and have designed and developed a complete range of standard chambers for vacuum test down to 100 pascal (1mbar) or high vacuum, on special request. These chambers have the same accessories as the thermostatic and climatic chambers. MyKratos Free App to remotely manage the chamber is available in Google Play and Apple Store ACS standard altitude test chambers can be supplied with 150, 500 and litres capacity, with a unique wall thermoregulation system for optimized performances at pressures lower than pascal (200 mbar). The test room thermoregulation is by means of a radiating technique. 500 and 1000 l models can be supplied in the ES version, designed for Environmental Stress (ESS) and ideal for reliability growth processes where temperature rates of change of 5ºC/min are pre requisite.
