3 T5/ISO The Combination Of Cleaning Efficacy With Environmental Consciousness P r o c e s s The following freely programmable procedures can be used during an operation: Pre-cleaning Washing Neutralization T5 Ultra-sonic Intermediate rinse Final rinse Disinfection, thermal Disinfection, chemical Drying Cooling After loading the rack will be transported automatically from the loading conveyor through the machine s washing, disinfection and drying chambers and the unloading conveyor to the unloading position.

4 Clean Solutions, Every Time L a y o u t a n d P r o c e s s The INNOVA T5/ISO is a multi-chamber tunnel washer composed of 2 5 independent building blocks. The whole plant is manufactured in a modular way thus guaranteeing easy and rapid installation. St/st 304 is used throughout the plant. Allocation of wash items/load: The loading conveyor can be supplied for 1, 2 or more positions for racks. Below the loading conveyor the central control cabinet can be installed with all necessary components for the fully automatic operation of the machine. The stub rolls for the transport and the pressure- rinsed tub with drain permit cleaning without problems. The wash process: Each building block/module is designed as an independent system. Each chamber is equipped with a hood. The hood rests with its weight on the sealing and hermetically separate the different chambers from each other thus barring any aerosols or fluids from escaping. Each chamber runs its specific operation independently as activated by the rack coding system. At the end of the chamber s process the load is automatically moved on to the next module. The drying process: The drying module is designed in analogue to the wash units. It is delivered with a high performance drying system using ambient air going through a HEPA filter and a heat exchanger to force hot air into the drying chamber. The lock system under the control of the CPU separates dirty from clean areas. The clean room: The unloading conveyor transports the racks automatically to the unloading position. The stub rolls for the transport and the tub with drain allow cleaning without problems. Optional adjustable angle converters, transverse shifting tables and return roller conveyors ensure an easy and problem free return of the empty racks to the loading area. 6 Intelligent Technology For Cleaning With Hygienic Safety P e r f o r m a n c e f e a t u r e s a n d f u n c t i o n Big rack size service doors provide easy access to the chamber. Individual lateral water- and air connection couplings to every level of the rack and the integrated rotating spray arms guarantee an optimal washing and drying result. By using sensors in each chamber, activated by a special rack coding system, up to 15 different programmes can be selected automatically. The racks are transported by stub rolls on the loading and unloading conveyors and by chain in the plant itself. Plastic rails lead the chain. Proximity switches ensure a precise positioning of the racks. The option of the cost saving water management enables individual optimisation of the consumption costs.

8 Lightning Clean In All Cases T h e u l t r a - s o n i c m o d u l e The design of some instruments, specifically of MIS instruments shows the limitations of even the best in washing technology. The solution: Often these border-line cases are pre-treated in ultra-sonic baths before going into a washer-disinfector. This function can be incorporated into the INNOVA T5/ISO tunnel washerdisin fec tor by integrating an automatic ultra-sonic module. Specifically designed racks are lowered into the ultra-sonic bath. Four submersible oscillators with the most favourable frequency of 40 khz guarantee maximum cleaning efficiency.

9 Move It, Easily H e i g h t a d j u s t a b l e l o a d i n g / u n l o a d i n g d e v i c e s Infinitely variable: Height adjustable packing tables or lifting devices for the comfortable loading and unloading of transfer trolleys, containers and racks are a welcome assistance to the work in every department. To avoid risk of injury at the washerdis infector, our R&D department has de signed lifting devices for tunnel wash ers and single cabin machines. 10 A Process Under Control C o n t r o l o f t h e p l a n t a n d d o c u m e n t a t i o n The INNOVA T5/ISO is equipped with a central control unit (PC). A data bus connects the subunits with the CPU. All operating procedures are displayed on a colour mo nitor.
