NORMAND VISION - OFFSHORE CONSTRUCTION VESSEL

OCEAN INSTALLER s business model rests in essence on a tailor made approach and close cooperation with clients. We know that speed, timely deliveries and efficient solutions are critically important, thus the ability to deliver and fulfill our client s goals is our main priority. NORMAND VISION is a large DP3 class vessel of VARD 3 06 L design and was built by VARD, Norway. Building on the experience and feedback gained in delivering 8 previous versions of the OSCV 06 L design, VARD has improved its design to ensure Normand Vision is the class leading asset which will be the new benchmark for large construction vessels in the North Sea and beyond. Both Ocean Installer and Solstad Farstad have been heavily involved in the design, specification and building process, evaluating and querying all aspects of the vessel. Normand Vision and her equipment have been based on proven designs/technology, the majority of which have been modified and "tweaked" to achieve improved characteristics. In this brochure Ocean Installer has provided details on all the major components to ensure Normand Vision is a "Class Leader". NORMAND VISION FACTS Built 2014 Operating area: Global Installation of Flexibles, subsea structures, manifolds, templates and general construction work 156 x 27m m2 deck space 400Te and 70 Te offshore cranes 2 x Oceaneering Millennium WROVs launched through moonpools 140 beds

A CLASS LEADER Main Specifications/Classifications Design vard 3 06 L Classifications: DNV1A1, SPS, E0 DYNPOS-AUTRO, DK (+),CRANE (N), HELDK-SH, CLEAN DESIGN, NAUT-AW, Comf-V(3) C(3), ICE C, SF, BIS, TMON, VIBR DP Class 3 Length overall 156.7m Breadth 27.0 m Max draught 8.5 m Transit speed up to 16,8 knots Helideck approved for S-92 and other regular offshore helicopters Deck Total free deck space of 1850m 2 Vessel incorporates mm steelplate on main deck, no wood sections, reinforced, z-grade with full penetration weld on main underdeck girders Deck choice allows for efficient mobilisations/demobilisations due to significant reduction in need for welding/support structures/grillage Deck strength in specific sections has been increased from 10Te/m 2 to 15Te/m 2 to accommodate heavy equipment like Structures, Reel Drive Systems and Carousels Dynamic Positioning DP3 class vessel DP plots have been improved based on experience learned from previous OSCV 06 L design vessels Thruster capacity in foreship has been increased to improve station keeping versus previous OSCV 06 L design vessels

OFFSHORE CRANES Well proven design from NOV, who are clear market leaders for producing heave compensated knuckle boom cranes NOV cranes are also on Ocean Installer s two other vessels which are operated by Solstad Farstad as well and have a robust crane maintenance system and philosophy 400 Te MAIN CRANE Main winch and 20Te AUX winch are Active Heave Compensated (AHC) with 3000 m of wire Crane includes "Special lift mode" for installation of large structures Significantly improved AHC capacity, possibility to engage AHC at max (<400Te) winch load NOV design is well proven and Normand Vision crane will include several improvements based on NOV experience from previous cranes including; Higher overturning moment capacity (better lift capacity at reach) Prepared for installation of smaller jib (increased lift capacity for larger structures) Larger overlapping zone for slew limits Included lessons from both Solstad Farstad and Ocean Installer to improve crane with regards to operability Main access platform on main 400Te crane includes a flipable platform aft end to reduce risk of clash with large structures during overboarding 70 Te OFFSHORE CRANE Main winch; 100 te (2 fall) harbour/deck lift 70 Te (single fall) subsea, 3000 m wire Aux winch; 10 Te AHC, 400 m Aux cranes; 2 x 3 Te

VERTICAL LAY SYSTEM 150 Te Vertical Lay System (VLS) delivered by Huisman Positioned over the moonpool offering maximum safety and access whilst minimising heave motion due to pitch and roll as VLS/moonpool is placed at optimal position vs flotation centre/cog Able to install and recover flexible products ranging from 50mm to 600mm in diameter 2 x 75 Te tensioners 4 track tensioner system - able to be operated in both 4 and in 2 track mode Retractable tensioners to allow for large end terminations or midline connections Equipped with 185 Te A&R winch Ability for main line to be piggybacked with line stored in either carousel or reel All drives for the VLS Tensioner are electrical which gives a more controlled and cleaner system Based on Huisman's experience and lessons learned, VLS has been improved and Ocean Installer is of the opinion that it s VLS-system is best in class with respect to risk mitigation when passing any weakened cross-section through the tensioners; this opinion is based on detailed knowledge of Competitors lay systems and the following significant CAPEX upgrade: Increased tensioner track length to effective 4.4 m allowing a lower squeeze applied to the product maintaining the same tension capacity Implementing active squeeze option on system leads to a significant reduction in peak squeeze loads and hence a smooth load-hysteresis

CAROUSEL MAATS Carousel installed, tested and commissioned before vessel delivery Carousel located below deck ensuring maximum free deck for other products Carousel drives are electrical which gives a more controlled and cleaner solution Storage capacity of 3000 Te Spooling arm mounted and rotating around kingpost Loadout system specifically designed for Normand Vision Loadout of flexible pipes can be performed from aft, port and stbd side

WORK ROVS ROV & Launch and Recovery System 2 off Oceaneering Millennium Plus high specification Work Class ROVs ROV systems with top hat tether management system Both ROVs launched through moonpools inside ROV hangar Well-equipped ROV hangar and workshops Rolls Royce/ODIM Launch and Recovery System 3000 m working depth Active Heave compensated winches
