EDITORIAL BY GUILLAUME LAURIN, PRESIDENT OF EXECUTIVE BOARD Hello, Since our last mail, a lot of progress has been made in the field of services and our international development: In June, we signed a service contract with ARQUUS Defense at the EUROSATORY show as part of the new support services that ARQUUS provides to its customers. This contract shows the adequacy of NSE's know-how in terms of technical and logistic support inherited from its experience in the industrial electronics sector, known for its responsiveness and cost requirements, to that of defense. In July, at Farnborough, we jointly announced with DRAKKAR the creation of a new company in Montreal to provide turnkey technical and logistics services to defense, aerospace and transport companies. In India, finally, we launched the creation of a new subsidiary in the city of Bangalore, NSE India, whose main purpose will be to provide equipment maintenance services and production of our products in the Indian market aeronautics and defense. During this last semester, we also reorganized our design sites to concentrate, at Soyons, in one place, all of our electronics and avionics design offices. With this geographical consolidation, we are strengthening our offer of high added value embedded electronic equipment design such as night vision, recording and data transmission systems, onboard computers and hardened screens. You will read in this letter: - An article on the NVIS modification of the Dauphin of the French Navy by Fadella ZORGUI, commercial engineer of our Design Business Unit, - A testimony of the company SERMATI collected by Benoît GUILLAUMIN, sales engineer of our Integration Business Unit, - An article on the development of our service offer to the third sector of the defense and internationally with a testimony of the company DRAKKAR by Antoine LACOSTE, commercial director of our Business Unit Services, - And of course a tour of our international subsidiaries by François LACOSTE, President of the Supervisory Board and Guillaume LAURIN, President of the Executive Board. Good Reading! Guillaume LAURIN President of the Executive Board

ARQUUS AND NSE SIGN A SERVICE CONTRACT On Wednesday, June 13th, the French company NSE and ARQUUS Defense signed a service contract at the Salon EUROSATORY 2018 as part of the new support service offerings that ARQUUS makes available to its customers. The signed service contract defines the terms of the collaboration of the two companies in support activities which are the setting up of an internet portal allowing the creation and the follow-up of requests for technical assistance. The portal also allows ARQUUS customers to view training offers and schedule sessions. NSE will also ensure for ARQUUS the management of the battery of diagnostic cases and connected glasses for France and International. In addition, a service contract in the field of logistics (collection, storage, delivery) and the control of subassembly repairs is also entrusted to NSE for the vehicles of the former Panhard range.

NIGHT VISION: A UNIQUE EXPERTISE IN FRANCE For several decades, the NSE site of Soyons (07) has acquired a now unique expertise in France, in the study, manufacturing and installation / training of NVIS systems (Night Vision Imaging System). These systems, intended mainly for military or paramilitary aircraft (helicopters and planes), make it possible to adapt interior (cockpit) and external (lights) lighting to make them compatible with the use of night vision binoculars. These modifications consist in installing BNL kits (low level of light) avoiding the saturation of the binoculars, thus making possible the use of these and consequently the night missions. Each aircraft having its specificity, the installation of these systems begins with a characterization of the lights of the machine made by the experts of NSE. The NVIS system is then custom designed. It consists of filtering the instruments on board, installing backlit front panels, modifying the external lights (position, formation...) and integrating the SHERPA box to ensure a harmonization of the different light sources and an improvement of the visual comfort of pilots. In addition to the installation, NSE also provides users with training, as well as obtaining the necessary certifications from the organizations concerned (EASA for example). Cockpit NVIS To date, NSE has equipped more than 1,200 platforms worldwide with its NVIS systems. The equipped aircraft are of all kinds: helicopters (Airbus, MI, AW...), fighter planes (Mirage 2000, F18...) or mission (C235, C295, C135...). Of the dozen or so companies that offer these skills and products around the world, NSE has a solid reputation for the know-how of its engineers and the quality and performance of the systems provided. During the last 12 months, NSE has been awarded three major contracts to equip MI 24 (Export) type platforms and DAUPHIN / PANTHER helicopters for a national customer. These are more than thirty new platforms that will soon be equipped with NVIS NSE systems.

MI 24 PANTHER These different contracts demonstrate once again the relevance of the solutions proposed by NSE, and prove the vitality of this niche market, mainly oriented towards the modernization of existing platforms. They are great successes for NSE and confirm the good prospects for NSE in this business segment. Fadella ZORGUI Sales Engineer BU Conception

WHEN COLLABORATION IS SYNONYM OF SUCCESS The economic relevance of successful business-to-business collaboration is well established. Collaborating has become a necessity, as the creation of value (for the different stakeholders) corresponds to a real and stated objective. Knowing how to evolve and mobilize the individual and collective skills required to work better together, has become imperative to win certain markets. A good example is our close collaboration with the company SERMATI located in Saint-Céré (46). We have been working closely with this company for more than 10 years, offering them technical solutions in the design and production of harnesses and complex harnesses embedded on radar systems. It should be remembered that SERMATI is a major player in the design and machining of large-scale mechanical engineering parts, recognized by the major contractors in the aerospace and defense sector. The collaborations of the past two years have allowed us to highlight our skills and complementarities, to "push the nail" with one of our joint customers, no longer by posing as "customer-supplier", but rather as partners. We have established a common commercial and industrial strategy, common bid support. This allowed us to win several important markets for major new Defense programs. Of course, this is impossible without the strategy and dynamics shared by all the teams involved on these issues. Collaboration is above all a story of Men, before becoming a future of business. 7 NSE TECHNICAL & LOGISTICS SERVICES / CANADA Creation of a strong French-Canadian partnership In August 2018, a brand new high value-added partnership was formed between the NSE Group and the Canadian company DRAKKAR, giving birth to the subsidiary NSE Technical & Logistics Services. Targeting the aerospace, defense and ground transportation sectors, the new entity will offer turnkey technical and logistics services to military customers, original equipment manufacturers, Tier 1 operators and airlines or land transport companies all over America. From left to right: Anthony Coleman, General Delegate of Quebec in London; Suzanne Benoit, President and CEO of Aéro-Montréal; Denis Deschamps, President and CEO of Drakkar; Dominique Anglade, Minister of the Economy, Science and Innovation; Guillaume Laurin, President of the executive board of the NSE Group; Benoit Hudon, President and Chief Operating Officer of AAA Canada; Hubert Bolduc, President and CEO of Montréal International. (Photo taken during the official announcement of the creation of NSE Technical & Logistics Services at Farnborough 2018). The company DRAKKAR Co-founded in 1991 by MM. Denis DESCHAMPS and Michel BLAQUIÈRE, DRAKKAR has more than 25 years of expertise as a world-class supplier of outsourcing services, particularly in the logistics sector for leading aerospace and transportation customers. Denis DESCHAMPS, DRAKKAR President and CEO Mr. DESCHAMPS has been involved for many years in developing a strong culture of sustainable partnerships, both in terms of business and socio-economic implications. Its corporate and personal commitments aim to promote people's autonomy through the vectors of education and employment, be it perseverance among young people, development of adult employability or the growth of organizations.

Foundations of this partnership «The creation of NSE TLS is perfectly in line with our business positioning and our partnership culture. This start-up, just like DRAKKAR was in its infancy, is part of the continuity of other French-Canadian partnerships that we have created and which are today dependent on developed skills that promote and solidify the birth of entities such as NSE TLS. For example, in 2008 DRAKKAR and the European AAA Group co-founded the subsidiary AAA Canada, an in situ manufacturing company that provides specialized outsourcing and technical assistance services related to the industrialization, production and manufacturing processes and monitoring of suppliers in the Aerospace and Transport sectors. As with the AAA Group approach, in this partnership, our company has been put in contact with the NSE Group through Montréal International, a major economic development agent for the city whose mission is to support foreign investors in Montreal. Quickly, depending on our culture, our DNA, our common and complementary sectoral expertise and our respective missions, the process between the two companies has given rise to a French-Canadian partnership that is both strong and promising ", says Mr. DESCHAMPS, President and CEO of DRAKKAR.

UPDATE ON INTERNATIONAL SUBSIDIARIES On the Granby site, NSE AUTOMATECH continues to develop markets for critical parts requiring very high precision machining. NSE AUTOMATECH, having developed components in prototyping mode in the first months of 2018 for GE Canada, has recently won components for turbines that will be installed in series on the latest generation Boeing 777X engine. The machining of these components requires the most demanding manufacturing process, the highest precision machining and compliance requirements that meet the strictest inspection protocols in the aviation industry. This gain is the result of the long-term work of all the NSE AUTOMATECH teams, it means the teams responsible for the proposals, the planning, the manufacturing engineering, the production inspection. On the Ville Saint Laurent site, NSE AUTOMATECH is positioned in the niche of electromechanical assembly for the advanced sector of flight simulation. Integration and Services Division of NSE AUTOMATECH, won and delivered the first controllers for an internationally renowned simulator manufacturer. These controllers integrate machined mechanical components, electrical components, electronics and complex wire structures.

These equipment are subsets critical to the operation of the latest generation simulators. The functions supported by these controllers are simulator movement, cockpit lighting and ventilation. This reference gained is very important for this division and should allow NSE AUTOMATECH to position itself as an international electromechanical sub-assembly integrator. Congratulations to the Ville St-Laurent and Granby teams! BRASIL NSE Brasil met with HELIBRAS (Airbus Helicopters of Brazil) at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE) to discuss a cable manufacturing proposal for a helicopter model. Several kits are missing to carry out this program and HELIBRAS is re-evaluating the current contract, which is an opportunity for NSE.
